Can anyone who has been recently (or who is there now) confirm that they still sell cases of water in the food court please?

Ta.

Yes they sell a 24 pack of 12 oz bottles of Dasani. Cost is $16.

We just came back on Friday.

Has anyone tried to ship to AOA yet for their stay.
Our family wants to ship a box of diapers, wipes, gluten free snacks, gerber graduate snacks for our little one etc?
I know others have shipped to other on property resors and we will use UPS but I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with AOA yet?

Use this address. I called and got a different incorrect address, but they said as long as it is addressed to Disney Art of Animation, it will end up at your resort. One of my packages arrived and the other was returned with incorrect address.

When we checked in, the girl brought out my package and showed it to me. Don't ask me why I didn't just take it with me then, but she said it would be sent to our room. But it never arrived! I went to the desk later and they had to track it down. Long story short, it was sent to a different room. Nobody knew what happened until the other people arrived in their room at the end of the day, and reported it.

Thanks for the info :goodvibes

Looks like I should ship a case of water as well.....I cant see paying 16.00 for a 24 pack of water :scared1: when I pay 2.99 here where we live

Thats going way over board on mark up

Thanks for that information:goodvibes....good to know so we can avoid paying that high mark up for water.
I pay 2.99 for a 24 pack of water here and cant ever see paying 16.00
thats a bit much.
Disney s pretty good at high mark ups.
I dont mind paying for merchandise but paying for food item 3, 4, 5, 6 times more than you would pay for it elsewhere is a bit hard to chew.

Just back, any questions?
I do want to say one thing, in case this is very important to anyone:the cell service is not very good at all. We all had to lean on the windows in the room to get even one bar. Most nights even with the phone on the nightstand next to the window, I had no service. Even in the food court it was spotty. This is two different carriers that were being used in my room, Sprint and Tmobile. Also, the wifi in the rooms gets barely a signal either. The bartender had a wireless register and he said the service was so bad that they had to install special equipment for him just to get his register to work.

I agree, cell service was not so good. I had to go way away from our room to call home and one night it was raining, but, we made it to the food court and was able to call from there..must have been a fluke because another couple of times I could not.

A case of water is heavy. I would think you'd wind up paying more than $16 with shipping. Maybe you could ship some empty bottles and fill them with water at the drink dispenser (assuming that water is good)?

We've always stayed at POP and had great service with verizon.

As for the case of water has anyone used one of the Grocery services and just had it delivered to your room?

You can get a case of water shipped via walmart.com to AofA for $4.45 total.

We are considering shipping a box of food and drinks down for our 2 year old so we know he's getting some food he likes. Would you suggest buying here and shipping it or ordering from a grocery service and having it delivered. What has been your experience with both?

So excited for our trip....just wanted to see our countdown!

There is a service out there now called Kelly's PDS (Personal Disney Shopper) and she will shop for you and deliver it to your resort, for a fee of course. I haven't used her services, but saw her info on a friend's Facebook page and checked out her website, looks like a great service. Her site is kellyspds.com

Cosco is the best deal... I think it was about $7, including shipping.:hippie:

Courtesy of Janet B on the Pop Century FAQ thread:

Thank you for the movie schedule, we'll be there very soon to enjoy! :goodvibes My apologizes if this has been asked and answered, but will that same set of movies repeat each week of September?

FYI for those asking about shipping packages to the resort!
