An April gay Disneymoon - Update 10/7 (2 updates) THE END!!!!!

That was one jam packed day! Where did you get the stoplight margarita and the Tuscan sandwich? We usually end up at the Backlot Express, looks like you guys did better!

ugh on the 63 minute wait for TSM! But it is a fun wait, if you have to do it. Love the Star Wars and Buzz pictures, those are fun. You guys got a LOT done between DHS and MK. Great updates.
it is a fun wait but doubt we will wait that long again.
We did do a lot but there is still plenty more from that night to come.

What a wonderful thread :goodvibes
Thank you.

The stand by studio catering by the backlot tour. has a great little area for sitting.

Next we went to one of my all-time faves.

We decided to leave and OH MY!!!!

It was not easy. Once we got to the stores then we sailed through but getting there was terrible.

Balloons
honeymoon576.jpg

Then we went back to resort and slept.

Up next,

Day 5

Your pictures on the COP came out really well!!!

Ahhh those crowds look scary - glad to hear going through the stores worked well! :thumbsup2

Day 5
This morning brought on a day of something new to us but we will get to that soon. We had breakfast in the room of a Clif bar and coffee and Vinny had donuts.
Soon we were on our way to our destination. Not the most flattering pic. LOL
honeymoon577.jpg

EMH at Epcot. We actually got there at 8:30.

honeymoon581.jpg

Walking to our destination.
honeymoon582.jpg

Hello destination.
honeymoon583.jpg

The line.
honeymoon588.jpg

I believe we waited only 15 to 20 minutes which is not bad. We had third row.

Then we walked out.
honeymoon589.jpg

We did grab a fastpass first.

Going to stop as next update is a first for us and lots of pics.

Up next,

I think we are the only adults here...

Great Carousel of Progress pictures! I still enjoy that attraction after seeing it many, many times, and Brooklynn and Bella seem to be okay with it, too. Jill only needs to see it about once every 3-4 years to be happy.

Thanks.

I have to see it 1 to 2 times a visit. :rotfl2: It comes up again later on in the trip.

Hi, joining in. Love your updates! Congrats on your marriage, you both look very happy:hug: We love all the same rides as you guys, CoProgress especially, I never get sick of it. LOVE the new sweatshirt - adorable. You taught me 2 new things I need to do next trip - rainbow margarhita (stop light) and the rain/umbrella in HS - didn't know about that either! Just when ya think you are the complete Disney expert!!! HAHA~:rotfl:

Thanks for the great report and pictures! Erin

After we Soared through the clouds we decided to do something we had never done before and we had the photopass already so let's fill it up.

honeymoon590.jpg

Not too bad so we went in. It was about 15 minutes and we were the only ones without kids. LOL. Many pics coming with different borders.

And that concluded our time with Mickey and his friends. They were very good on the interaction here. Glad we did it and got there early.

Up next,

We soar through the clouds and learn about the land

Great update! :thumbsup2 I loved all the photo pass pictures with the Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy. Glad you got there with barely any wait.

I don't know why I like the hot air balloon decorations up high where Soarin and The Land is, but I do. I guess they're just so Disney to me.

Looking forward to reading more of your TR. :surfweb:

We went a little after opening and it was a great time.
I love those balloons and cannot figure out why I need a pic every time I go. :rotfl:

After seeing our friends we headed back to Soarin’ through the clouds again.
honeymoon598.jpg

honeymoon599.jpg

This time we had FP’s but still a 5 minute wait and we asked for first row. I love this ride, Vinny not so much.
honeymoon602.jpg

Now it is time for us to do something we had not done before. We signed up for the first “Behind The Seeds Tour” of the day. Warning there will be many photos.

Meet Charley. Our guide for the tour. He was great.
honeymoon603.jpg

Each couple got a tube of ladybugs to be released later on.
honeymoon604.jpg

I honestly will not be writing a description of all things as I cannot remember.
honeymoon607.jpg

honeymoon609.jpg

Then we went inside the building and saw it all.
honeymoon610.jpg

honeymoon613.jpg

honeymoon614.jpg

Then we were instructed to release the ladybugs.
honeymoon615.jpg

honeymoon618.jpg

honeymoon620.jpg

The Charley gave us a sample of the cucumbers. Vinny was convinced it tasted like watermelon?
honeymoon621.jpg

Then Charley spoke to Tim. LOL. Tim explained a few things to us. I would love his job just to be able to work all day in there.
honeymoon622.jpg

Next room and new things.
honeymoon625.jpg

honeymoon626.jpg

honeymoon627.jpg

Cucumbers.
honeymoon628.jpg

Tomato.
honeymoon632.jpg

Then I saw a hidden Mickey across the way.
honeymoon634.jpg

honeymoon665.jpg

honeymoon666.jpg

honeymoon668.jpg

Looking up at the ceiling.
honeymoon672.jpg

A lone alligator.
honeymoon673.jpg

Then we were allowed to hold a pumpkin mickey and take a pic.
honeymoon674.jpg

Would anyone want corn? Think you might have to wait awhile for it. LOL
honeymoon677.jpg

This plant was great. You see the big branches I guess open and then you touch them and they close up. The 2 in the middle are closed. I wanted one to play with all day. LOL
honeymoon680.jpg

After this we walked out and the tour was over. I really loved the tour it was informative and just fun seeing how they do it all. Charley was a great guide. If you have a 90 minutes I highly recommend doing it.

The cost for the tour was $30.60 with the discount though I cannot remember what gave us the discount.

Then across from the desk they sell mini Mickey gardens. I bought 2 of them. 1 is vanilla and the other is dragon fruit.
IMAG0084.jpg

I planted both and the vanilla is growing like crazy, the dragon fruit not so much.

Up next,

Can you guess?

I just noticed the pic with the pumpkin you can see my wedding ring.

I really enjoyed this update! (Not that I didn't enjoy the other updates :p) We've done the Behind the Seeds tour two or three times and we love it. I've always wondered in those tiny little plants would grow after you buy then and bring them home. It sounds like the vanilla is the one to buy.
