Vegetarian Dinner at Chef Mickey's

I am going to be at the World in 2 Weeks and currently have reservations for 2 our first night at Chef Mickey's. We are both Vegetarians and where wondering if there is enough vegetarian options on the buffet to eat or should we contact ahead of time to let them know our needs?

I've eaten there twice as a vegetarian and didn't have any trouble. There were plenty of pasta dishes and veggies. It seems like (if I remember correctly) everything was marked with what major ingredients it had so it was easy to tell what was meat-free.

If you are vegan then it's harder, but the chef will come out and talk to you, and make you something special if need be. Chef Mickey's is still one of our favorites!

That's always the pitfall for vegetarians...there are often "hidden" meat-based ingredients. White rice and vegetables might look safe, but if the rice was cooked in chicken stock, it is no longer a truly vegetarian item. You would be surprised at some of the things that aren't vegetarian. The one that really makes my head scratch is Planters Sunflower Seeds - they are coated with gelatin!

If you are following a strict vegetarian diet, I definitely recommend talking with the Chef.
