Need help with a restaurant suggestion for breakfast.

I need suggestions for a good breakfast restaurant for our last morning, which is a Sunday. Our flight isn't until 7pm so we'll have time for a nice sit down meal. We are staying at AKV-Kidani with no vehicle so I would need a Disney location. Character dining doesn't matter either way. There will be 3 adults and 4 children, ages 8, 6, 4, and 4. We've only been to breakfast once on property, which was a character breakfast with the kids at AK about 5 years ago. We usually grab breakfast at our villa or something quick on the way to a park, which is what we will probably do again for this trip, but I want to do something nice for our last day and I really don't know where to start. Suggestions????

For a non-character sit down meal I would suggest Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. It's a great setting at all times of day especially the AM. Lots of choices on the menu....love those macadamia pineapple pancakes!!! And the tonga toast is another fav of ours. They've also got some great coffee!!!

I personally loved CRT when we went there in June and I would think that breakfast would be something really special. Try it!:rotfl2:

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Character breakfast with Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and Winnie the Pooh. :thumbsup2

Sunday mornings at Downtown Disney the House of Blues has a Gospel brunch buffet. You might like that if you are into that kind of thing.

My fav last day bfast would have to be chef mickeys. if you don't want buffet style then i'd say Kona.

Since you are staying at AKV I would suggest Boma. It is a fantastic breakfast buffet with lots of options.

I have a semi-newbie going with me in Oct. She leaves a few days before me so I made a short list of breakfast spots before we went to the airport. It got narrowed down to Boma and Kona and hands down she prefered Kona. I know it's a smallish menu but she could not resist the pancake/french toast options. (I'm more of the basic egg/bacon or bagel and cc kind of breakfast eater) Kona had stuff that we would both eat with out the buffet cost. Plus the Poly is just a great atmosphere to visit.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions :thumbsup2
Now I just have to figure out which one to choose.

Depending on which park you were planning to spend your last few, precious hours at, look at Crystal Palace at MK. We love Kona also.

Since our flights sometimes come a little earlier in the day (our DME usually picks us up at noon), we like to have a character meal to get a few last hugs and smiles in before we leave. We have done:

CRT
CP
1900 PF

We loved every minute of it and that is our plan when we go to DL as well here in October.

Since we don't do a park on our last day we pick an out of park location. Last year, on the QSDP, we had breakfast at WPE. Very good. And when you consider it's a CS, it's great! My DM even thanked the chef for her omelette-something she's never done in her 72 years. :)

When on the reg. DDP, we ate at Park Fare or 'Ohana for our last meal.

I decided on Boma and just made a res. I figured it would be easier since we are staying there.
Thanks for help :)

Completely have to second this! Boma has an awesome buffet with all the traditional items and some ethnic offerings as well. Plus the ambiance is so nice and relaxing. Crystal Palace which is just delightful for breakfast is another good choice.
