Well the holiday times are starting to come upon us and who doesn't love getting a fun holiday card in the mail? I know I do!

If you would like to participate please send me a PM with your name, address and Holiday Card in the subject line.
I will be collecting everybody's info until Nov 10. After that I will PM everybody with a master mailing list. Once you receive the master list please mail your cards out by Dec 10.

Right now I'm going to keep everyone as one list however if a lot of people sign up we can split into smaller groups

We have a regular exchanger on this board that usually does Christmas cards.

I think you need to participate in some of these before hosting, so we get to know you.

Of course we can't stop you from hosting, but you are stepping on toes.

These swaps are about having fun.

I ask that if you have any questions you contact me directly. I would like this thread to focus on the fun of the exchange.

The exchanges are fun.............I have done 100s over the past 10 years BUT we also have had some not so successful hosts.
We ask that you participate in some first before you take on hosting, but again, we can only suggest......and again, you did start ones that people have done regularly here for many years

I agree with Nancy. We have had hosts, especially ones we are not familiar with since they have not participated in many or any exchanges just pop up, and host. Then they are iffy with not always being around, they do not follow through, and some that have just dissappeared. And even though we were not part of the exchange, us regular hosts feel bad for those participating, so we step in to fix the problem. Not saying that you will be the same way, but giving examples of what we had to deal with in the past. So we advise others to join in on some exchanges here to see how things are like, get to "know" other exchangers, see how exchanges are done here on this board since exchanges, and swaps on each board are done differently....

As I stated in the other thread. You are more than welcome to join or not. I take no offense however I would like to focus on the exchange. I want people to feel welcome to join us. If you would like to discuss this further please pm me.

Ladies - I get what you are saying however right now all you both have done is litter my two threads with negative comments and have made me felt like I'm being bullied. Which is not ok. I have asked that if you have any concerns you pm me and leave these exchange threads to focus on the fun experience of the holidays!

Just an update I'll be running this mainly from facebook. The welcome I received from some people really turned me away from this section of the boards. I will still check here for any new additions and hope that everyone joins me in some holiday fun.
