No Orcas, No Bears, No Fly! But Why?? Disney Wonder Alaska VIDEO/PICS/NAVS/MENUS/MORE

Loving your trip report! I am only thru your first night on your cruise but so far, everything looks fabulous!

I also wanted to thank you for posting the details about he foodie/Pike Place tours you did. I live in Seattle and have been wanting to do one of those tours with DH --just for fun! After seeing your pictures and reading your comments I am going to sign us up!

We are also Tom Douglas fans! Yum!! When you comeback to Seattle, you need to try Lola which is right across the street from the bakery. The breakfasts you had looked amazing but I can definitely recommend Lola as an awesome place for breakfast too! Also, you must try Seious Biscuit.....amazing!:)

Okay....back to your trip report.....

You are so welcome about the Savor Seattle Tour stuff! I had such a blast doing it, I know other people would as well!! I can't wait to go back to Seattle to eat more food, it is a great town for it!!! Thanks for reading!!!

Thanks so much for writing this trip report! We leave in two weeks on the Wonder and I can't wait. I haven't looked at anything other than the report, maybt tomorrow I can tackle the documents and videos.

One question...you guys are from NC, why are you Dodger fans? I'm originally from TN (living in western Washington at the moment) so I'm wondering why you're not a Braves fan? LOL

Thanks so much for sharing!!! Your photos are AWESOME!

Ugh Braves! Well my DH's Dad's Family was from Brooklyn before they moved to NC so it was just passed down through the generations, being Dodger fans are in the blood. Not sure why living in NC qualifies us to be Braves fans since they are in GA two states south, technically we should be White Sox fans because the Charlotte Knights are their Triple A Team, but I digress ;) funnily enough, we are going to Turner Field this Friday to watch the Dodgers take on the Braves before we go on our Dream Cruise ;)

I appreciate what you said about my photos! That's makes me very happy! I hope you have a fabulous time on your cruise ;) thanks again for reading!!

I have really enjoyed reading your trip report, it's got me so psyched for our Alaska trip coming up soon. Your photos have also been inspiring :thumbsup2
Thanks for taking the time to post all of this, I'm off to watch your video, which I'm sure will be fantastic :goodvibes

Ashley, just wanted to let you know that I recently shared your video with our boys (ages 5, 12 and 13) and we all love it!!! Jeremy is their kind of guy! (We're the family with the three boys who make the "awesome face" for every photo I take and, therefore, have an expression quite like Jeremy's in pictures!) I think we'll be doing a little Ashley and Jeremy dancing of our own during the sail away party next Monday! And our middle son is a baseball player and huge baseball fan - so love the "Centerfield." I'm still trying to convince our 13-year-old avid vinylmation collector that there will not be Vinylmation FE gifts on our cruise. His response: "Will they [Ashley and Jeremy] ever be on one of our cruises?" Thanks again for this wonderful report (we keep returning to it to check on menus, Navigators, etc.) I really appreciate all the helpful information and have enjoyed getting to know both of you! :)

Thank you so much for such a lovely (and thorough! LOVED having the Navigators & Menus as well as food pics) TR! We just booked this cruise for next year (out of Vancouver - we live nearby) and wanted to get an idea of what to expect.

Also thank you SO much for the Seattle info! I've been wanting to do the Savor Seattle tours for years and this gives me the kick in the butt to try & do it (DH has a conference in Seattle for a week in October, so DS & I will tag along). If they won't let DS go (he's pretty little still), I at least know where to visit now ;)

I am glad they enjoyed it!! You are most welcome for all of the info, I hope it truly has helped you plan everything for your own trip!!

You are so welcome!! There were children on our Food Tour, so hopefully they would let him go!! I hope you have a great time on your vacation when you go next year!! Thanks so much for reading the TR!!

Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that my new Trip Report has started if you would like to read it. We went to Atlanta, Disney World, and on a Disney Dream 5 Night Cruise to the Bahamas with a Double Dip at Castaway Cay ;) Thank you all for you wonderful comments and I hope to see you over there as well!!

Just spent the last couple of hours reading your TR. I loved it! The pictures are great, and I would love to do the Alaska cruise someday (as the nature looks beautiful).

Aww, thank you so much!!! I am glad you enjoyed reading it! I hope you get to do the Alaska cruise someday, it was a fantastic experience! Thanks again for reading my TR, it really means a lot to me that people enjoy it so much, and it makes me happy that they like my photos too...hehe:lovestruc

Signing on to read from beginning to end. Just booked our first Alaska cruise and we are from North Carolina, too, so I am tagging along to see what I can learn. :)

Thoroughly enjoyed your report :goodvibes

And if I didn't learn anything else, I learned that I must hit the ladies room before heading into port. :rotfl:

Thanks for sharing your trip.

Just found your TR - loved it! Despite all the "no's" in the title, it looks like you still had a fabulous time. :goodvibes

Also, :worship: - your Limited Edition Vinylmation FE Gifts are awesome! :thumbsup2

Just read your TR; thank you for making my Saturday morning! You write very naturally and I enjoyed it very much. :) Lovely photos too!
We are booked for a June 2014 Alaskan cruse; can hardly wait!

Thanks for the TR! We are going in June and my girls got so excited watching your video (about 5 times in a row!). Thanks for taking the time to do it!

I really enjoyed your trip report! It seems like a 7 day cruise really just flies by! We booked the Alaska cruise for Aug. 2014. I learned so much by reading your experiences! Thank you for taking the time to share!

I've really enjoyed your trip report, we're going to Alaska in August and you've made me even more excited for it (is it possible?) - thank you for sharing. :goodvibes

Thank you so much for the TR, your details and photos were excellent! DH says 2 Bahamas cruises are enough, time to see another part of the world, I am convinced Alaska should be next!

Loved your TR and all the detail you put into it! Thank you so much for taking the time to post it, reading it has been very helpful to me. We don't go on our next cruise until next year and are planning on booking Alaska while on board. I had to start a planning document today to add all of the tips I learned from your TR although I feel sort of silly since it's so far off. Anyway, thanks again!

Another poster coming around to say thank you for an awesome trip report!! :thumbsup2 I had read this months ago and bookmarked it and your report was one of a few that really inspired my decision to book Alaska. We initially were booked to go 6/14 then moved it to 6/13 so we sailed 6/17/13-6/24/13. I was going through your pictures to compare (even though we sailed from Vancouver) and what a nice surprise and touching moment when I saw you also had Tricia for your asst. server! :lovestruc We fell in love with her and really bonded and our experience with her was a highlight of the cruise for us. We had a different server (Bahadir from Turkey) and he was awesome too, but not like Tricia! They had both been on the ship since January and were heading home for 8-9 weeks of vacation the day we disembarked and she was so excited.

Thanks again,
Heather
