January 17, 2013 DREAM Cruise becomes a Reality

Yes, both of our cabins will participate in the FE.

We have been on the Dream twice and then the Fantasy last week. We like the Fantasy better, but part of that is because of the 7 days and it just seemed so much more relaxing and people weren't running around trying to fit everything in a few days.

The layout is also much better on the Fantasy when it comes to the pool. DH and I spent time up at Satellite Falls and it was so, so nice. The pools also didn't seem as crowded.

But the Dream is great. You will absolutely love it.

yeah, cruising for 7 days would be really great! We decided to give the 3 night a try and if we like it then we'll try for longer.

just found this thread. Count us in on this cruise too. It will be our 2nd cruise on the Dream. Adults only (me and my dh)

let me also just say that dcl is the bomb. We went on the carnival sensation in June with my in-laws and I've never been so disappointed which is why we have this cruise booked. Gotta get the bad taste out of our mouths. DCL is all we will ever cruise on now.

This makes me even more excited about DCL!!

Can't wait for our cruise. Going with DH, DD 17, DS 13. We would love to participate in FE.

Cruised three times on the Disney Magic and then went on Norwegian. We were totally disappointed..So back to DCL. They set the bar for us so we are hooked.:cool1:pixiedust:

This trip is going to be a lot of firsts for us. Our first time staying on Disney property (at an AoA Nemo suite), our kids' first trip to WDW, followed by our first DCL cruise. All of this to celebrate our anniversary and our girls' January birthdays.

By the way, we're from the DC area too. It's a small world after all… :cool1:

Julie
Chris - DH
Ella - DD will be nearly 9
Lydia - DD will have just turned 6

And yes, we'd like to do the FEs. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hey, Lori! Wow, that's quite a lot of cruises!

When you have your ressies for January cruise, let me know and I'll add your info to the first post, along with anyone cruising with you.

We're booked with all of you on the Dream. It's our first ever cruise and we're doing it the Disney way! Three days on the cruise, followed by three days in the park in AofA Little Mermaid room. Flying from Philly in January...already stressing about weather. Pixie dust for no Nor'easter snow storms!!

We'd love to join the FE group.

DH and I will be celebrating January birthdays on the cruise. He'll be 44 January 15 and I turn 49 on the 28th. DD is 8 and DS is 6.

We're already working on door magnets and FE holders. We want to do our first cruise right!

Wonderful. It is great to have you joining us. We are going to WDW the day we get off the cruise.

You will have a great time my dh and I did back in sept 11. Which is why we are going back on this cruise.

Welcome!! Yay -- we are first time DCL cruisers. DH and I did a cruise about 10 years ago and enjoyed it. This will be our first DCL cruise and first time with kids!!

I will add you to the FE group, too.

We also are going to WDW afterwards but only 2 days at BLT and probably just spending the whole time in NFL and eating at BOG!

Wonderful. It is great to have you joining us. We are going to WDW the day we get off the cruise.

Me too! It'll be neat to keep a look out in the parks for our Cruisers.:)

Yay!!

Just checked our reservation details and see they assigned us a cabin. We were booked GTY cat 7a. Now we're confirmed in cabin 8520. Looks like a good location, though it's very forward not midship (which, they say, is better if you're prone to seasickness). I'm already stocking up on the Bonine for myself and the kids. DH doesn't have a problem. Anyway, stateroom reviews for that cabin say it is super quiet and convenient to elevators. We're even more excited now to have an actual number. Makes it seem more real! Can't wait!!!:woohoo:
