First a Little Pomp & Circumstance, then a Whole Lot of Disney Dining! COMPLETE

Oh my gosh, the Baklava french toast looks heavenly, but I think I would have to choose the macadamia nut or pumpkin  pancakes over it!! Love the picture of DD2, when you 'made' her go to breakfast that she wouldn't even share!:lmao: I could have given you some of the same examples, with my daughter and niece both looking that way!!

Looking forward to your next dining report!!

Yum, the french toast baklava looks so, so good. I should've tried to fit in Kouzzina this trip, but it slipped my mind. :( Oh well - next time. :) And I see you got the pictures

Now I'm enjoying reading through the favorites - the Tutto Gusto cavatappi and the BLT flatbread both look especially tempting right now. :goodvibes

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I love a good list and you are officially the queen of lists :goodvibes

Wonderful photos and fab descriptions

Shall we have a quick collection to send you back to WDW for more reviews ASAP

Excellent lists!! I think I already see some things that we will be trying next week if our ADRs go according to plan ;) That CG flatbread is calling my name as well as every single one of those steaks! Is there a favorite dessert? :cool1:

A bit crazy with all the critters but we are having a great time! Love seeing my nephew! Only getting to see him once a year, he changes sooooo much! He seems so much more grown up this year!

Will do on the hug and the pic!

I forgot to ask you which day you are meeting up with Brenda? Oh, and speaking of Brenda, I think she might "clowning" around this afternoon and marking #15 and #16 off her list. :thumbsup2 :lmao:

And one more thing...Two More Days!!! :cool1:

Oh my gosh, the Baklava french toast looks heavenly, but I think I would have to choose the macadamia nut or pumpkin  pancakes over it!!

I must agree with you, ShortStuff! While the Baklava french toast was delicious, my heart still belongs to Kona's Pineapple-Macadamia Nut Pancakes! I haven't yet tried Kona's pumpkin ones, but I've heard from MickeyNicki that they are even better.

Speaking of next time, any idea when that might be??? :rotfl:

And yes, the pics came through perfectly. :thumbsup2 When I received them I screamed and then laughed out loud...my family thought I'd completely lost it! But then again, what else is new. :lmao:

The "Queen of Lists"...I rather like that, Linda! :thumbsup2 Does that entitle me to hang out with the other "Royals"? I heard from a very reliable source that the Queen of England occasionally enjoys a frappacino at Starbucks. If I'm ever in Windsor, I'll be sure to check it out. ;)

Not sure if the BLT flatbread is still on the menu at CG, but I'm sure that whatever flatbread they have replaced it with is also delicious. :thumbsup2

And what favorite food list would be complete without DESSERT??? Certainly, not mine!!! :rotfl:

Thanks for the lists! I am going to try those potstickers at Yak & Yeti and the iced drink at Raglan. :)

Check back tonight for our Favorite Entrees and Desserts! :thumbsup2

This is the most dangerous thread in the world to read when you're hungry... :rolleyes1

I LOVE these 'favorites' posts and pictures! Especially since so many of them I've never tried. My must-eat list is getting long enough to circle the globe!

Love your list of favorites! I think I am going to ROLL out of WDW!! I have a feeling hubby and I may be doing a lot more sharing this trip!!

Btw... where is the favorite cheese plate from???? I could go look through your reviews but that would take awhile!!!

I think I was reading your Sanaa review at the same time that you were looking at our favorites here. ;)

Oh, thank you Paula! I see that I forgot to list where the favorite cheese plate was from plus a couple of others. I was pretty sleepy last night when I was posting these. I need to get an earlier start tonight when I do the entrees and desserts. :lmao: Anyway, the favorite cheese plate was from Jiko. I'll go back and add it and the others I missed now. Thanks again! :thumbsup2

OUR FAVORITE DESSERTS

Now since the Dessert category seemed to be the most difficult to narrow down to just two choices each, I decided to allow each person to choose three. ;) :rotfl:

Warm Chocolate Cake with Molten Center, Coffee Bark, and White Coffee Ice Cream

DD1's Favorite: Il Mulino's Tiramisu
Layered Espresso and Coffee Liqueur infused Lady Fingers coated with Marscapone Cream

Okay, so you may have noticed that DD2 really likes gelato and ordered it at Il Mulino, Tutto Italia, Via Napoli, and that other well-known Italian restaurant...Yachtsman Steakhouse. :lmao:

So which was her favorite???

DD2's Favorite: bluezoo's Warm Chocolate Raspberry Molten Cake
with chocolate cream pudding, raspberry sauce, and raspberry ice cream

Now I really liked my daughter's two favorite desserts, the bluezoo Molten Cake and the Il Mulino Tiramisu, and probably would have chosen them as my two Honorable Mentions. But I instead wanted to include some other desserts that deserved to be honored.

NEXT UP: Our Overall Favorite Meals ;)

Your entree favorites all really intrigue me, since all six of the featured dishes come from a different restaurant! It's a strong reminder that all of the signatures (and Le Cellier) are capable of serving really good food.

BTW, I didn't order the salmon at AP. I was very happy with my choice, but I think the salmon would've been even better. :thumbsup2

Hi Jabead! Fellow Central Illinois redsident here! I have spent a bit of time on the Disboards, but just recently found the Dining Reviews section and yours was the first report I read. I am hopelessly addicted now. :) I was super excited to find that we are from the same area (I always feel like I'm the ONLY Disney nut around here!) and I LOVED your report! I think you have done a fabulous job! You've definitely inspired me to give a Dining report a try after our September trip.

I can really sympathize with trying to extend the magic after your trip is over, especially when you don't have another trip on the horizon. :( We haven't been to WDW since August of 2008, the longest "drought of Disney" in my adult life!

Thank you so much for sharing your trip with all of us! I have to tell you, all the chatter about those Macadamia Nut Pancakes at Kona inspried me to add a trip to the Poly in to our dining plans.....this board is going to get me in to trouble! :)

Take care!

Megan

You know I really didn't even notice this until you pointed it out, that our 6 favorite entrees were all from different restaurants. I guess that we will have to include all 6 of these restaurants in our dining plans for our next trip. DARN! :lmao:

And I'm looking forward to finding out what you chose at AP...but first things first, bring on those beady-eyed prawns! :rotfl:

So many great entrees

Bring on the dessert - I am ready and waiting

Sorry about the delay on the desserts, Linda. I fully intended to post them last night but then got logged out somehow from photobucket after posting the entree pics and then it wouldn't let me log back in to my account. :badpc: Not sure if the problem was on my end or photobucket's, but it seems to be working today. So anyway, I plan to have our vast array of favorite dessert pics posted this evening for your drooling...I mean viewing enjoyment. :lmao:

Oh, and speaking of desserts...I got to the cheesecake shop too late on Monday to catch Lindsey. But I plan to go there again sometime in the next few days, as today is my in-laws anniversary and so you can probably guess what they are getting as an anniversary gift. ;) I am so glad that place opened up just down the street from my office. It has made gift-giving so very easy! :thumbsup2

:wave2: Well, hello fellow Central-Illinoisan, Megan and welcome to the Dining Reviews section of the DISboards! I have been around these boards for 12 years now, and I can honestly tell you that this is by far the best section of these boards. :thumbsup2 The people here are great and the discussions (whether it be about Disney food or occasionally we get side-tracked and talk about other things :rolleyes1) can be extremely entertaining. :lmao: And then there is the food porn!!! :p I will warn you not to get too close to your keyboard when viewing the food pics here because they tend to cause much drooling. :rotfl:

Do you mind if I ask you when exactly you are going in September? I would love to add you to the list I am maintaining of DISers with upcoming trips. Here is the LINK in case you haven't yet seen it.

And lastly, thank you so much for your kind words regarding my report. Reading your comments truly made my day! :goodvibes

Your neighbor and DIS friend,

Barb

Hi Barb!
Have you thought about a link to your big dining report list in your signature?:scratchin

I'm happy to say that Brenda (emmysmommy) is continuing to make great progress with her list! :thumbsup2 Unfortunately though, at her YSH dinner last night she forgot my advice regarding the cheese plate.
