We Had originally booked Little Mermaid Resort from Nov27-Dev 5th
with free dining yesterday I was able to add one more day to the
free dining reservation Then I saw that the Fantasyland
opening was on Dec 6th the day we would be leaving Guess what
I went back again and luck was with me after several calls I was able
to add 2 additional room only days - so now we leave on the 8th
And best of all we will be able to use our free dining on the 7th
up until midnight So we only have to pay out of pocket for eating on
the 8th This worked out perfectly We are happy campers

thanks for the comments Goofy you leave in a few days

That's wonderful, but how did you get FD in the LM rooms? We're going 11/24 to 11/ 30 and we can't get FD (and could really use it). :( Thanks for any info you could tell me. :goodvibes

When they first started booking the little Mermaid rooms we obtained a special Pin that was offered to Persons that had visited in the past
It was the first time I had seen this offer and I jumped on it and with the
help of a very special CM was able to get it. Never saw anyone else with
that same type of PIN all I know the pixie dust was there that day and thanks to that CM we have freen dining at LM Very lucky on that one
I would love to know if anyone got that PIN

I believe all the free dining options for little mermaid were used up
when the bookings first came out

We also got a PIN back in May for FD, staying at LM. I believe only those w/ PIN's were offered the option of staying LM, though. I guess they figured there would be enough interest in it from those offered the PIN and decided not to include it for the general population offer? From what I'm seeing, though, many people switched from LM to Pop or something else to get FD, so Disney's little plan may have backfired on them, lol. We'll see! I have to admit, I'd pick something else also if LM wasn't offered to me JUST to get free dining. Saving $ on dining is way more beneficial to me than staying in a new resort.

I need to call and see if I can get a room only for the Dec 9th. We were planning on staying off site that night, but it really would be SO much easier not to have to change hotels. I was hoping for a room only discount, so I'm kind of waiting. Does anyone know if you have to leave a deposit when making a room only reservation? for just one night? (2 rooms).

we allso had a 10 day park hopper and we never do a park on our first day
so we have enough park tickets to cover the entire trip so remember your park ticket is good on your check out day so you may not need to
get a special ticket for your extra day

Drats! They overlooked my friends and I because this is my 15th trip and I didn't get a pin. :( We are really splurging for this once only Christmas trip and we got the DDP on our own *groan* and it'll be a very special trip. I am, however, very happy for those of you who were lucky enough to get the free food - Disney magic at work.

They may still some free dining across the lake at POP
You can see all here is to see at Animation just walk over the bridge
Your dates are eligible call and check it out you will save a lot
of $ and stilll see the AOA resort dont hurt to try

Would it be cheaper to get a suite at AoA that is included in the free dining? rather than LM and having to pay for your dining plan? just wondering.

figure 40 dollars a day times the number of persons in the room
that will give you the figure and dont forget you get free drink cups
also then see if the figure equals the diff in the cost of the suite might be close
I think its around 16 for the kids now if you have two rooms booked now it
will probably work for ya

we booked in march for sept 27 -oct 2 for free dining at pop. About a month later they added the lm at aoa, It took me several days to get an open room, I would check several times a day on the web site, and as soon as one opened i call a cm, they did not even know that they included the LM rooms . They had to call a supervisor and check. I know this time when they came out for the free dining the LM is not included again, maybe in a few more weeks they will include it.

I also got the FD with a pin for a LM room, and we also will be visiting Nov 28-Dec 6th.

I'm actually looking to add a room only for Nov 27th because I scored Le Cellier with the candlelight processional @ Noon on the 28th :cool1:

Thanks for your suggestions everyone; I really appreciate them. Our TA talked to Disney and a suite was far too much of a difference even with FD as we only are in need of an LM room capacity. It never hurts to keep checking however and I will do that. Thanks again! :thumbsup2
