Single eater for palo brunch

Is there are bar I can be seated at for palo brunch? I will be doing this one solo. My family is not old enough yet. If I am a single table, can I just do a walk in?

Even as a single eater, you will need to make a reservation for Palo. I eat at Palo alone all the time for dinner and brunch. They will sit you at a table for two. I usually bring a book to read to keep me occupied.

I am doing the same thing as OP. my children are too young, so I'm hoping to be able to do a solo brunch on our Fantasy Eastern. As a first timer, I can't make my reservations until after everyone else, but is it easier to get a reservation for one?

I had reserved for Palo brunch as a single eater knowing that I would be placed at a table for two. One morning, I happened to venture to a sit down breakfast without teenaged DD and was seated with another mother who also wasn't with her daughters. We got along well and two days later, I happened to see her a couple of hours before my scheduled brunch and invited her to join me. She accepted and we both enjoyed our meal! :thumbsup2

As a solo, you will be seated at a table for 2. I was once asked if I minded sharing with another solo (bad move, she sobbed about her husband's death the whole time...I can be sympathetic, but this wasn't what I'd anticipated when I agreed to share a table).

You will need a reservation--the chances of being seated if you attempt to walk in are nil.

You might go to the dis meets section of the board to see if you can meet someone you'd like to do brunch with.....

On our last Dream cruise, I had difficulty getting a brunch ressie on line. I went to the dining changes place and was not able to get a ressie for 2 but my DIS buddies were able to get a table for 3 after me. I ended up getting a table for 5 with the DIS friends I met on-line. It is easier to get brunch ressies for a group of 4 or larger. Just my experience.

As others stated you still need a reservation for a brunch even if you are dinning alone. While on board the ship I have made several dinning reservations for myself and got the times I wanted.

They don't have tables for 1, so it's the same as getting a table for 2. So not easier at all. But it is definitely possible.

And, there is no bar with seating in Palo. On the Dream and Fantasy the Meridian bar is located between Palo and Remy. I haven't seen any food menu for the Meridian.

That reminds me of the potential danger of saying anything more than "Hi" to a stranger on a plane.
