I know we have to dress for Palo dinner but is cruise casual ok for Palo brunch. I definitely won't wear shorts or tank tops but would a nice pair of capris and a top be ok?

I think cruise casual is ok. Most people are a little dressed up, but I have seen women in capris. I always wear a pair of dress slacks and a top for brunch.

I thought you weren't allowed to wear capri pants at brunch. I wore Mod Cloth's Soda Fountain dress in cherry (search it, it is adorable!) with a pair of gold tone quotation mark earrings, and wedge heels. It was cute.

The dress code that's listed on the website is for dinner only. Unless something has changed, I was originally told by DCL that brunch was cruise casual. You may want to confirm with DCL what the current dress code is.

When we did Palo brunch on the Wonder (Oct 2011), we received a card which says:

"For Champagne Brunch/High Tea, the attire is Cruise Casual (no shorts, swimwear, or tank tops)"

:cutie:

I've seen capri pants at brunch. Nice ones though. Blue denim is definitely not acceptable.

Also, beware...

My DH forgot to pack his Dockers (pants) for brunch.:headache: I went and asked (an hour before our brunch time) if nice jeans and long-sleeve button-down shirt were permitted. No. (Though they were nice about it.) It's funny now that I think about it. He ended up wearing his tux pants and shirt (without the bow-tie.):rotfl2: At first he told me to go without him, and I reminded him the brunch is one of the reasons we sail DCL. No one really noticed anything unusual about the way he was dressed. Brunch was great!:rotfl:

I wore nice capris, a nice shirt and sandals (they were flip flop type sandals, but nice ones).

Just had Palo brunch yesterday on the Magic. Capri's are definitely allowed. We were asked that no sneakers, flip flops or shorts be worn when I made the reservation in person. The flip flops, in my opinion, means the rubber beach ones...I honestly don't think they mean they don't want any sandal that has the piece between the toes. One in our party had a medical "boot" on her foot and had to wear a sneaker on her other foot for balance and that was allowed, of course.

Every one we saw was dressed nicely and saw plenty of capri pants with nice tops.

We were a party of 7 and we surprised we got the private room...I did not book Palo until we boarded the ship and when we arrived at Palo we were escorted to the private room. We have had that room before but with a much larger group.

We had Sasha from Croatia and he is as fantastic as ever!!! He goes home today for his vacation for 2 months.

The two night cruise was nice....way too fast but we enjoyed ourselves!!!
