So I see alot of post about things to do with teh kids and I can relate. We travel with my DS3 alot and like the family time but when we are on vacation we sometimes like to get away for a little while, now it is eaiy for us because we travel with myDM offen and have the ability for her to take my son and have "grandma" time. But what do some of you do to get away at Disney. I know some with younger kids may not realy beable to get away. But this can be sitting on the patio after teh kids go to bed or grabing a snack together.
I bring this up because my DW has asked from time-to-time how we can get some us time on a trip.
I look forward to hearing what some of you do to get away while at Disney.

Glad I could help Kevin.

Mine are now 10 & 8 but I can't convince DW to break away for any alone time. Maybe one day.

We've used Kids' Nite Out on a few occasions to get out for a dinner date while on a family vacation. They were great, although they can't take the kids to the pool.

DW and I have also done the wine tasting at Jiko. They set up a separate table for the girls close by where they read and color during the wine tasting. The kids come around when they bring out the cheese and fruit plates, but other than that, they have little interest in us during that time.

Yeah we have been lucky my mom travels with us to Disney usually so built in sitter, But in the future it is nice to know the sitter service is good.

Nice, I think if I gave my DS his LeapPad he would sit and probable not even notice if we were there or not.
:stitch: - DS insisted I post Jumping Stitch

I realize this thread is almost 4 months old, however---

Our us time usually involves spirits-- drink around the world at epcot, hang at the Big river Brewpub for good food and brew, Jelly rolls is a blast for a few. That Romantic Disney link must be old to still list Pleasure Island.
