The tag fairy... A rare endangered species?!?!?!

Okay, so as of today I just learned about the coveted "Tag Fairy". I am super jealous! I mean why don't I have a tag? Hey Tag Fairy... I am super tagable!!!!!

I mean I LOVE Disney.... I am Disney's biggest fan. Really I mean it. We have had annual passes for years, we go to Disney at least 3 times a month (I would LIVE at Disney if I could), last year my fiance and I got engaged at Disney, and we are currently planning our Disney wedding/honeymoon trip in December 2012! I am super excited that I am going to be a Disney bride! My fiarytale princess dream is coming true!!! I really hope all this deserves a tag!!!!!!!

So..... my question is where were you all when you got your first tag? And how super excited were you?

Many of us on the Dis have not been tagged. One never knows if they will ever get a tag.

My first tag was from a thread regarding Southwest Airlines long ago back when they literally had an A, B, and C, chute and you lined up in your appropriate chute first come first served.
I made a comment about loading like cattle. The tag was the comment. OK all you A cattle, get in the chute. Mooo Moooo.

The second tag was from the restaurant board from a review I did of Portuguese seafood stew at Spoodles long ago. I think my review stated It has a bit of a kick, so those that absolutely cannot handle any spice should not order this. But for the rest of us, it's not overly spicy. Yummy Yummy. The Tag Fairy did a bit of a summery.

The third tag, someone stated they didn't like Onions, so I decided to be snarky and posted "Onions rule."

The Tag Fairy changed the color of my third tag. It used to be purple.


No one knows what the tag fairy will find funny and place as your tag, if anything.

My first tag came from a begging thread just like this where we were discussing what we'd do for a tag. I'd been on here a couple of years when I got it. Some people on the thread were bribing with chocolate but I said something about I'd bring chocolate AND sit on the Tag Fairy's lap.

I've since begged many times to get one of mine to shake, move, scroll, whatever. No such luck. I'm guessing that my lap sitting wasn't as thrilling as the Tag Fairy had originally thought.

Sometimes the Tag Fairy strikes when you least expect it, and you don't necessarily have to say something clever to get a tag. I know because I am so not clever and I have a tag.

One thing I have wondered though, does the Tag Fairy frequent the other boards or only the Community board?

I once saw a t-shirt that said, "Welcome to the dark side. Are you surprised we lied about having cookies?" in response to those t-shirts that say, "Come to the dark side - we have cookies." I'm wondering if we will need to make something similar for the tag fairy when it turns out that none of these people promising chocolate will follow through... unless they have figured out how to transport food via internet. If so, Dominoes 30 minutes or less rule needs to come back!

I do enjoy reading people's tags. Sometimes I'll read a tag and think, what the heck was THAT thread about?! Then I realize that my tag is not exactly self-explanatory.

The only time I ever read anyone's tags is when a thread about being tagged/not being tagged pops up... not that I'm saying I don't want to be tagged, of course
