Your ULTIMATE SURVIVAL GUIDE to Disney World at Christmas Time! UPDATE x2 10/21

I love the food of the World Showcase shirt. I agree though, where’s the schoolbread?!

I cannot WAIT to see the Candlelight Processional. It looks and sounds absolutely beautiful!

Your pictures of Holiday Illuminations are just fabulous. It’s so pretty!

Joining in! I'm loving your TR! I wa there the same time as you and we were even in the same parks on some of the same days. I've never seen CLP before, but it's a must do for this year!

Wow love your illuminations pics! That holiday ending was amazing! The fireworks just kept going like non-stop! I'm pretty sure my jaw-dropped when we saw it!

Thank you so much! That's exactly how I felt about the ending - absolutely incredible!

You took some really lovely pictures of Illuminations!

Also, I LOVE the Candlelight Processional. I was lucky enough to be able to do it my freshman year of high school. This sounds awful, but one of my favorite things to do during it is watching the people who have to be taken off stage. When I did it, we had to perform twice, which meant standing for 40 minutes straight in a robe under the hot lights after touring the park that morning. Most likely the girl you saw being taken backstage had almost passed out. My mom was a chaperone for the trip and helped out the people from my high school who were taken backstage. Because of this, she got to meet the celebrity narrator Rita Moreno! So it was even super special for her!

I digress! I am loving your TR and looking forward to reading more!

Thank you so much!
Wow, that is SO lucky! I went to such a small school that we never had the opportunity to go. I'm glad that you got to do that! Yeah, I'm guessing that's what happened to her, too. I can imagine how hot it could get up there! It sounds like your Mom got a pretty good deal out of that trip, too! How wonderful!
Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it!

What a great update! You certainly did manage to do everything holiday themed while you were down there. Makes me sad that all Sylvia and I got to was MVMCP, mind you, we were only there for 3.5 days, and that included an audition haha.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I made sure to plan it out so we could do EVERYTHING! Aww well MVMCP is a really wonderful thing to do if you have to prioritize! I hope you had a lot of fun!

I usually just lurk but wanted to post to say how great your TR is! It is a really fun one to read and you have a great writing style! Keep up the good work! :)

The Holiday Illuminations looks so cool, do you know when they start it? We will be there until nov 16th this year, I wonder if we might get lucky and get to see it?

Thank you so much for the compliments! I am glad you're enjoying it!
It was AMAZING! I actually have no idea when they start it, I'm sorry! I hope it'll be running when you're there!

Your photos of Illuminations are stunning! You have the best fireworks pictures. :thumbsup2 Do you use a manual setting on your DSLR? I have a Nikon 3100 but I have no clue how to do anything but keep it on the auto setting. I know, what a waste! ;)

Glad to hear that the Candlelight Processional was worthy of all the acclaim! (I love Christmas carols since they say it all in their message of the reason for the holiday.)

Ahhhh a morning to sleep in - on vacation! ::yes::

Thank you so much! That's so nice. I just use the "no flash" setting or the "action" setting. I have the same exact camera as you! I don't really know what all of them mean either. I seriously just play around with it. The portrait setting is the best, though! Especially for food pictures!

It was WONDERFUL! I definitely recommend it!

I just read your latest post, and I must say, I am DEFINITELY going to do the Candlelight Processional on my December trip. The show looks AMAZING and I agree with you that the performers did deserve that standing ovation.

Good! It's definitely worth seeing!

I love the food of the World Showcase shirt. I agree though, where’s the schoolbread?!

So do I! They really should edit that shirt!
You will love it!
Thank you!

Joining in! I'm loving your TR! I wa there the same time as you and we were even in the same parks on some of the same days. I've never seen CLP before, but it's a must do for this year!

I'm so glad! Thank you! Aww that's awesome! I wonder if I'm in the background of any of your pictures! Definitely make sure you see it when you go for Christmas next time!

I totally agree about that shirt since it seems Schoolbread is a popular dish in Norway itself, but I think I've heard they are known for their export of fish... I don't know, what do I know? Do I live in Norway? I should just stop talking now, BUT I won't because I have a lot more to say.

Wow, can't believe how quickly the line for the Candlelight Processional got for you guys in such a short amount of time, but at least you utilized the long wait, props to that. Now onto the actual show, wow it looks so pretty from your pictures. I've heard the name Blair Underwood before... I believe he is in some Broadway show right now, a revival and a famous one at that. So he must be a pretty good actor :confused3 Everything about this Candlelight Processional sounds so great and something to do during the holiday season, hopefully I'll be able to see it someday, but I'm taking notes right now.

:thumbsup2 to seeing the special IllumiNations! I'm taking a mental note of the spot you and your mom watched the show. I never even thought of that being a place to actually see the show, but from your pictures, it looks absolutely fantastic! I feel as if you got this show down to a science. WOWZ!

Glad to hear you had an overall great night only part way through your trip. Love your last little tweet for the night, of course something like that would happen HAHA

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Chapter 79: World Showcase Storytellers..... GO!
December 28th, 2011

So, I planned to sleep in until 9:30 am this day, but I was up by 8:30 am. Clearly my Disney sleep schedule was in full swing at this point.

For the first time in a few days it was actually sunny when I woke up! Every other day I had been waking up before the sunrise!

I got up, showered, and got ready to leave. Mom mapped out all of the Epcot Storyteller times so we could try and see the rest of them today!

Mom and I left the room and went down to Contempo Café for breakfast. We had another slow experience with the Cast Members there. I don’t know what their problem was! It was ridiculous.

I got a croissant and a yogurt:

dsc06212y.jpg

And Mom got oatmeal:

dsc06222v.jpg

We went on the monorail and took it over to Epcot. It was SO cold out on this day. There was a major temperature drop and it was now in the 40’s! Brrr. Being in the shade was especially cold!

Not only was it cold, but the crowds were BAD today. Like... the worst it had been so far. However, we weren't gonna let that stop us!

I posted on twitter:
You would think getting through the turnstile into the parks is the most complicated procedure people have ever experienced.

Hahaha it's so true though. We were waiting for a good while just to get into the park. Yikes. While we waited, I took a picture of this nice ornament that was hanging above the turnstiles:

img1264u.jpg

Once we were through, we got fastpasses for Test Track. It was only 11 am when we got the fastpasses, and they were already for 3:25 pm! (And Soarin’ was already for 5:55 pm!)

The guy in front of me in the fastpass line LITERALLY had 25 tickets. Oh my gosh. How obnoxious.

I checked my wait time app for all of the Epcot attractions and I saw this. ALREADY.

img1255nw.jpg

45 MINUTES FOR THE MAELSTROM. Obviously, everyone was rushing there that morning. It is the Maelstrom, after all!

We walked around Future World for a little bit. We checked out the Nemo wait time but it was a little too long for our liking.

img1268sk.jpg

We went into Mouse Gear because it’s obviously the best store ever.

I kept seeing these Mickey Pajamas the ENTIRE trip and I wanted to buy them so bad. Sadly, I never got around to it. But wouldn’t they have been so cute to wear all winter!? Ugh I should have bought them.

img1265wp.jpg

I also spotted some PILLOW PETS! Gotta love those. I had my eye on Pluto, but it wasn’t quite time to purchase him yet.

img1266ro.jpg

We headed off to Canada next! I read in Kara’s trip report that she found some cute pajama shorts in this gift shop, but sadly there weren’t any styles that I liked this time around. I need to go back and look again sometime. I realized I had NEVER been in that store before! It was absolutely adorable.

Our first storyteller of the day was actually in Canada, so that was convienient.

dsc07092w.jpg

It was the story of Nowell – The Canadian Lumber Jack. He started out in full lumber jack garb.

(I caught him doing some gangsta/hip-hop/rap hand gesture. LOL)

dsc06252ss.jpg

He told the story about Santa Claus. As the tale progresses, he continually put on more pieces of clothing so he looked like Santa by the end!

(Is he not doing the smolder in this picture?!?! Like... omg.)

dsc06292s.jpg

He ended the show by saying “You never know, Santa may be standing right in front of you!” Haha, clever.

dsc06302fe.jpg

Afterwords, we went over to Les Chefs de France for lunch.

dsc07012q.jpg

I posted on twitter:
HELLO FRANCE.

We were seated by an extremely good-looking French boy, but we ended up having a waitress.

Her name was Justine. She was adorable, and she told my Mom and I that we were both gorgeous. What a princess! If any of you remember the 2005 planning DVD, (with Erin, Dave, and Luke… The floating bench… etc.) she looked like the main girl, Erin! She had a very similar face and hair style. Her English was a little shaky, but overall she did well!

img1267un.jpg

For lunch I ordered the Croque Monsieur et sa Salade Verte – aka the French toasted ham and cheese sandwich with salad.

dsc06332ni.jpg

This was pretty good, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The crust was just so hard and the bottom didn’t seem to be toasted. I booked a lunch reservation here just so I could try this sandwich, and I don’t think it was the best one I could have gotten. I forgive them because the park was CRAZY that day, so I’ll just have to go back and try it again sometime. I still liked it, don’t get me wrong, it just could have been better.

dsc06352v.jpg

Mom got the Crepe Florentine. The picture doesn’t look too pretty, but she said it was excellent and she loved it!

dsc06342n.jpg

Overview of Les Chefs de France:
Waitress: Justine
Service: Good and fast. We were in and out of the restaurant very quickly. Justine was very nice and even though she was sometimes hard to understand, she was very plesant. 4.5/5
Atmosphere: Good! We were in the room near the window. However, we didn’t have a good view of the waiters. 4/5
Food: The Ham and Cheese Sandwich was good but the bread had an overcooked top and an undercooked bottom. I still liked it, but I wish it was better. 4/5

After France we went over to the American Adventure Pavilion to see the Kwanzaa storyteller.

dsc06962r.jpg

She talked about the different themes and days of Kwanzaa. The story behind this holiday is that the king was unsatisfied because all the townspeople ever did was work. They needed time to “play” and enjoy themselves like the children.

One way they “played” was celebrating to music! So the storyteller handed out percussion instruments and sang “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” She had a very nice voice and we all had a sing-along!

dsc06392p.jpg

After that story we went over to the American Adventure to see THE VOICES OF LIBERTY. Oh my God, they are PHENOMENAL. They sang “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” “Jingle Bells,” a Hannakuh Medley, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and a few other songs.

dsc06402ql.jpg

They were absolutely breathtaking and they sounded like a chorus of angels. Acapella groups are just my favorite thing – each and every one of the people in that group are SO lucky! The blonde one in the red looked a little bit like Reese Witherspoon!

dsc06412k.jpg

Christmas Tip #42: Whether or not it is the Christmas season, YOU NEED TO SEE THE VOICES OF LIBERTY. They are an extremely talented and beautiful group that deserves 10 minutes of your time. You will fall in love.

We skipped the Hannakuh story because we heard about the traditions while we were on the Yuletide Fantasy Tour with James.

So we decided to go back to France and get some ice cream! Lia talked about the chocolate ice cream from the Crepe Stand and how it was absolutely fantastic. I just had to try it for myself!

Did you know that the French Crepe Stand has ICE CREAM CREPES!?! Yeah, they do. That’s a real thing. I seriously need to try one of those sometime soon.

We waited in a super long line to get this ice cream, but it was SO worth it. I was given my ice cream from Giovanni. He was beautiful. Even though the line was insanely packed he gave me a precious smile as he said goodbye to me. AHH gotta love France.

I posted on twitter:
I got my delicious ice cream from a delicious French boy. (;

img1270a.jpg

That ice cream did not disappoint! I am always a vanilla person but since Lia recommended the chocolate, that’s what I got. YUM! I was so happy – it really tasted fantastic! And I'm a little obsessed with waffle cones, so the whole situation was just perfect. Mom got a twist and she was very happy with it.

dsc06442u.jpg

Now that I’m looking back on this picture, I’m realizing that those cones are very frumpy lookin’. I work at an ice cream place so I notice these things now haha. But I forgive them… that line was CRAZY! The park was just insane that day.

I posted on twitter:
Wooo Epcot is CROWDED. It is getting to the point of being humorous. Again :P

Continued in Next Post

That ice cream looks soo good! I want one with a crepe! :lovestruc
What wait time app do you have? I have a few different ones (lol) but some never seem right

Kwanzaa found herself a coat! She wouldn't tell her story the day I was there because it was raining and she'd no shelter :(
I need a pillow Pal. I'm hoping France has them.

I absolutely love your Wishes pictures! They are so pretty! I feel the same way about Teppan Edo. I like our local japanese steakhouse better. Better food for less money. Plus, you get salad with your meal. I am sad for your trip report to end!

Oh, early Disney morning things! Totally a DISer thing, you should never find it weird you wake up earlier than expected in Disney just saying (; Sorry to hear you had another less than stellar experience at the Contempo Cafe, I feel like you may not be rearing to go back to this place on your next trip though the oatmeal does look good! :goodvibes

Wow, I can't believe the weather in Florida dropped to the 40s. That sounds crazy to me and I've been during February (where it was in near-20s at home) as well as April when it is generally not that hot in Florida. Just... wow! And the crowds were STILL crazy (45 minutes for Maelstrom, total ludacris)! I'm guessing this was a crazy day. Love the little ornament at the turnstiles though :)

Sorry you didn't get to ride Nemo at that point in the morning, but I guess it wasn't a big deal since you glazed over it so well. So... YAY MOUSEGEARS! It really is one of the best stores on-property at Disney, a shame I haven't bought much of anything from there  I want that Pluto pillow pet! Because you know... Pluto's my boy!

First, because I'm the worst grammar/spelling Nazi you will ever meet, I believe the name of the Canada storyteller is Noel not Nowell, but it's an easy mistake so I won't attack you for it or mark you down a grade or something (there are a lot of English teachers on here, okay!) But I think you caught some great poses from the guy, he's so totes gangsta haha And I love the "Santa could be standing in front of you" quote. I probably would've been so giddy at that moment if I ever saw this in person, I would look so crazy. Sorry to hear at Les Chefs, you didn't get your good-looking French waiter or the sandwich you were hoping for, but the waitresses are nice you know... :thumbsup2 to your mom getting a crepe, love crepes!

Oooo... the Kwanzaa story sounds really interesting, I mean, why not make a holiday where adults can have fun like children? It's almost the same as the basis for why the Disney parks were created. :confused3 And I totally agree about the Voices of Liberty, they are absolutely amazing. I've heard many acappella groups before them, but they are BY FAR the best. So on pitch and with such distinct, beautiful voices. Know what's funny too? My sisters have a picture with one of the singers! Be jealous hehe And yeah, the one in the red does look like Reese (though I also see some Jenny McCarthy).

Oh, I love the ice cream from the Crepe stand though I think the Crepes there are AMAZING! It's funny when I got my first crepe there, I had originally bought an ice cream (vanilla), but gave it to my sister because she didn't like the crepe and I thus discovered my love for crepes. And now the Crepe stand has become famous for ice cream not the crepe. Ironic? (RIGHT KRISTEN!!!) OH and they do have the best waffle cones! (Though I don't see the frumpiness... well, I just applied to an Ice Cream place so hopefully I will understand why you think they are of the frumperverse)

Can't wait to read about you surviving the humorously large crowds! :mickeyjum

I checked my wait time app for all of the Epcot attractions and I saw this. ALREADY.

45 MINUTES FOR THE MAELSTROM. Obviously, everyone was rushing there that morning. It is the Maelstrom, after all!

Do you have Mobile Magic or is that something else?

Our first storyteller of the day was actually in Canada, so that was convienient.

He ended the show by saying “You never know, Santa may be standing right in front of you!” Haha, clever.

dsc06302fe.jpg

You know, Jess, I've heard that Nowell knows of another Christmas story. It's the legend of "people who come to our homes dressed in strange outfits. We call them...relatives!"

Wow those crowds are insanse:eek: I really feel for anyone who takes their first trip during that time and probably thinks it's that insane all the time.

The Voices of Liberty are so amazing on a regular basis, I can't even imagine how amazing it must be to hear them at Christmas, I really love how you guys made sure to take in all those kinds of things on your Christmas trip.

Reading your TR has got me really curious on the story of Nowelle, as I'm Canadian and have never heard of it so i'm off to google it lol.

Can't wait to hear more:goodvibes

-I love the towel toothbrush basket with the stickers on it! Adorable!

I'm surprised you haven't heard me rave about that red velvet cupcake before! It's my favorite!
I'll probably watch it once with my boyfriend or something. Then that'll be it. Just so I understand it!
What a shame!
I love that slide!

-OH MY LORD! WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR WOODY SHIRT? I.MUST.HAVE.ONE!

I got it at Hot Topic way back in October!
Haha I have two binders full of pins. It's crazy!
Rhanks!

-I love your tree :) I feel like that would be gorgeous if it was framed :) I may have you draw me one of those and send me it. My name would be really cool too!

It definitely would! I need to remember to put it on my registry or whatever it's callef for my wedding LOL
DVC was the best investment we ever made!

-That is just CRAY-CRAY! It makes it really feel like you were/are meant to be there in that exact room, doesn't it?
-Oh.My.God. That room is PERFECT! I love the pull-out cabinet, the pull-out couch, how spacious it is, and I need to find one of those space mountain prints!

-I LOVE the GF! I stayed there twice when I was 5/6 but I want to stay there again SO BADLY!

Absolutely! It was fate!
It really is perfect... I can't even.
Haha just having the option of doing laundry is great... I hate having to deal with dirty clothes on vacation in case I want to wear something again.
I think there are only a few BLT rooms left, unfortunately! But you can always use your points no matter where your home is!
Yeah, my future husband has to like Disney or it's a no go.
That's really lucky! I stayed there when I was 13 for my Dad's conference... but I barely remember it! I was more concerned with the parks at that point in my life :rolleyes2

-Oh Goodness! Mickey and Minnie just look so perfect in their outfits :)
-Mmmmmm that egg nog mousse thing looks delish!
-Oh God....that cheesecake looks like heaven on a plate!
-I have yet to eat at Kona, but one day I WILL!

Wow, that sounds right up my ally!
Thanks!
Yeah, it's an awesome parade!
I think you gotta be a CM to know that inside secret dance!
Thanks!

-Ummmm.....I really shouldn't have read the part about the Christmas decorations being taken to property control.....I am so going to be broke when I do the DCP! I am going to buy SO much stuff!
-WOW! I'm so glad that they use LED's!
-OMG a wall of glitter? SIGN ME UP! I need to go on this tour!
-Oh goodness gracious! I NEED to do the Wishes dessert party!

-That cake looks delish!
-I really wanna go to Teppan Edo!
-That Green tea pudding looks so yummy! I love pudding, and green tea, so it would probably be perfect!
-That illuminations holiday show looks SO AMAZING!!!!

I'm going to be SO broke too haha. When are you doing your DCP?
Yeah, I loved learning about how they did everything!
Everything was wonderful!

I totally agree about that shirt since it seems Schoolbread is a popular dish in Norway itself, but I think I've heard they are known for their export of fish... I don't know, what do I know? Do I live in Norway? I should just stop talking now, BUT I won't because I have a lot more to say.

Let's prioritize. Fish... or school bread. School bread, OBVIOUSLY! ::yes::

Wow, can't believe how quickly the line for the Candlelight Processional got for you guys in such a short amount of time, but at least you utilized the long wait, props to that. Now onto the actual show, wow it looks so pretty from your pictures. I've heard the name Blair Underwood before... I believe he is in some Broadway show right now, a revival and a famous one at that. So he must be a pretty good actor :confused3 Everything about this Candlelight Processional sounds so great and something to do during the holiday season, hopefully I'll be able to see it someday, but I'm taking notes right now.

I know! It was weird! Yeah, that sounds about right for Blair! It was wonderful!

:thumbsup2 to seeing the special IllumiNations! I'm taking a mental note of the spot you and your mom watched the show. I never even thought of that being a place to actually see the show, but from your pictures, it looks absolutely fantastic! I feel as if you got this show down to a science. WOWZ!

That spot was AMAZING! I have seen it in many places and that was one of my top favorites!

Glad to hear you had an overall great night only part way through your trip. Love your last little tweet for the night, of course something like that would happen HAHA

Thanks! Haha I'm a frump.

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

That ice cream looks soo good! I want one with a crepe! :lovestruc
What wait time app do you have? I have a few different ones (lol) but some never seem right

It was REALLY yummy! I want one too!
I have the Magic Guide. However, I also use Mobile Magic... that seems to be a little more accurate because it's the "official" app.

Kwanzaa found herself a coat! She wouldn't tell her story the day I was there because it was raining and she'd no shelter :(
I need a pillow Pal. I'm hoping France has them.

Aww that's sad!
Like... Disneyland Paris? Or France in Epcot? haha

I absolutely love your Wishes pictures! They are so pretty! I feel the same way about Teppan Edo. I like our local japanese steakhouse better. Better food for less money. Plus, you get salad with your meal. I am sad for your trip report to end!

Thank you! Yeah... that's how I feel too. And LOL don't worry... we still have a long way to go!

:goodvibes

Actually, I love Contempo Cafe. I would go back anytime. I just would prefer it to not be crowded.

I know... it was terrible. I wanted it to be warm! Some Februarys Disney gets really cold. It just depends on the year! It got REALLY crowded... you will see as the day goes on.

Yeah, I really didn't care haha. I can go on it any time. I love Mouse Gear. I spend SO much money there! And yup, I have a Pluto pillow pet! I'm laying on him right now, actually!

Actually, that is how it is spelled. I copied it from the brochure. I'm pretty English savvy, I know how to spell Noel in normal context :p It was a really good story - I loved it! And yeah...... a waiter would have been better.

Oooo... the Kwanzaa story sounds really interesting, I mean, why not make a holiday where adults can have fun like children? It's almost the same as the basis for why the Disney parks were created. :confused3 And I totally agree about the Voices of Liberty, they are absolutely amazing. I've heard many acappella groups before them, but they are BY FAR the best. So on pitch and with such distinct, beautiful voices. Know what's funny too? My sisters have a picture with one of the singers! Be jealous hehe And yeah, the one in the red does look like Reese (though I also see some Jenny McCarthy).

They are the most talented group of people in the world, by far!

I don't think you can go wrong with ice cream or crepes! And because the cones are just tilted over and a little messy looking.

Can't wait to read about you surviving the humorously large crowds! :mickeyjum

Do you have Mobile Magic or is that something else?

You know, Jess, I've heard that Nowell knows of another Christmas story. It's the legend of "people who come to our homes dressed in strange outfits. We call them...relatives!"

That's the Magic Guide but I also use Mobile Magic.
Haha very nice :thumbsup2

Well of course the Maelstrom would have a 45 minute wait. I mean, it IS the most popular ride in Epcot. What am I saying?! It’s the most popular ride in all of Disney! It’s just so good.

The Canadian Lumber Jack rapping AND doing the smolder?! Where does Disney get these amzing people?!

Once you said where you were having lunch, I was all ready to hear about the extremely hot waiters. I’m very disappointed you got a waitress. I’m sure you were too.

I’m sorry your sandwich wasn’t that great. :(

-You know it's a bad sign when there's a 45 minute wait for maelstrom!!
-I love the voices of liberty! I need to get on youtube and watch the Christmas version!
-I LOVE Reese Witherspoon! She's my favorite actress!
-The ice cream crepes sound yummy!

I'm surprised you haven't heard me rave about that red velvet cupcake before! It's my favorite!
I am too! I probably have, I just don't remember :upsidedow

What a shame!
I know right! That's going on the top of my Disney food's to try list!

I got it at Hot Topic way back in October!
It's adorable! I'm going to find one right now :hyper:

Haha I have two binders full of pins. It's crazy!
Holy Moly! I can't wait until I can build up my collection!

It definitely would! I need to remember to put it on my registry or whatever it's callef for my wedding LOL
I feel like the Disney store needs to make a registry...because I'm going to be registering for a ton of Disney stuff!

I think you gotta be a CM to know that inside secret dance!
I agree! I'm thinking of taking some dancing classes so I can brush up! I took Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Gymnastics, and Cheerleading at different points in my life, and so it would be great to be able to audition! My dream role (other than being a princess, but that will never happen :( because I'm only 4'8") is to be a parade/stage show performer!

I'm going to be SO broke too haha. When are you doing your DCP?
I'm planning on Fall Advantage 2013! I am kinda at the perfect time in college to take a year off to do the program! Are you planning on doing it anytime soon?

Wow - things must be crazy at the parks when Gran Fiesta Tour has a 20-minute wait. I'm loving the updates as usual, from the beautiful fireworks pics to the restaurant reviews.

I've been to WDW during Christmastime, but oddly enough I've never seen a full showing of the Candlelight Processional. At most, we've walked by it, stopped for a few minutes, and moved on. Sounds like I have to add that to my "eventually" list. :goodvibes

Haha I used to work in an icecream store too and my boss was a total tirant about making sure the cones and cups looked perfect. I was like really...it all tastes the same and as soon as you take a bite it just smoshes...but I do agree, the look of food makes all the difference!

45 minute wait for malestrom at 11am? no thank you. Even reading about that kind of crowd makes me uncomfortable.

It was CRAZY that day!!!

I’m sorry your sandwich wasn’t that great. :(

I know, right!? It's the best ride IN THE WORLD!
Oh I know, they hire only the best. :thumbsup2
Gahh I know right!? I was so sad.
That's alright - I still enjoyed my meal! It was fun!

Me too!
She's awesome!
I know, I have to try one someday!

Most definitely! They better!

Yeah it's INCREDIBLY hard to get a role like that. I'm majoring in Theatre in college and even though I would love to be in entertainment in Disney, I don't know if it would ever happen because it is SO competitive. But I honestly would be fine with many other roles... so I'm sure the right one will work out eventually!

I'm planning on Fall Advantage 2013! I am kinda at the perfect time in college to take a year off to do the program! Are you planning on doing it anytime soon?

That's awesome. I hope you have a lot of fun! I don't know when I'm doing mine yet. Definitely not next year. But we will see.

Oh yeah. Just you wait until I post more crowd pictures! Aww thank you so much!
Really? Haha you should sit down and see it sometime - it's really beautiful!

Yeah my boss always wants the "presentation of the product to look good" when we hand it out the window. But I understand why these cones didn't - sometimes it just gets crazy in there and you want to file through the line!
