Oh, early Disney morning things! Totally a DISer thing, you should never find it weird you wake up earlier than expected in Disney just saying (; Sorry to hear you had another less than stellar experience at the Contempo Cafe, I feel like you may not be rearing to go back to this place on your next trip though the oatmeal does look good!
Actually, I love Contempo Cafe. I would go back anytime. I just would prefer it to not be crowded.
Wow, I can't believe the weather in Florida dropped to the 40s. That sounds crazy to me and I've been during February (where it was in near-20s at home) as well as April when it is generally not that hot in Florida. Just... wow! And the crowds were STILL crazy (45 minutes for Maelstrom, total ludacris)! I'm guessing this was a crazy day. Love the little ornament at the turnstiles though
I know... it was terrible. I wanted it to be warm! Some Februarys Disney gets really cold. It just depends on the year! It got REALLY crowded... you will see as the day goes on.
Sorry you didn't get to ride Nemo at that point in the morning, but I guess it wasn't a big deal since you glazed over it so well. So... YAY MOUSEGEARS! It really is one of the best stores on-property at Disney, a shame I haven't bought much of anything from there
I want that Pluto pillow pet! Because you know... Pluto's my boy!
Yeah, I really didn't care haha. I can go on it any time. I love Mouse Gear. I spend SO much money there! And yup, I have a Pluto pillow pet! I'm laying on him right now, actually!
First, because I'm the worst grammar/spelling Nazi you will ever meet, I believe the name of the Canada storyteller is Noel not Nowell, but it's an easy mistake so I won't attack you for it or mark you down a grade or something (there are a lot of English teachers on here, okay!) But I think you caught some great poses from the guy, he's so totes gangsta haha And I love the "Santa could be standing in front of you" quote. I probably would've been so giddy at that moment if I ever saw this in person, I would look so crazy. Sorry to hear at Les Chefs, you didn't get your good-looking French waiter or the sandwich you were hoping for, but the waitresses are nice you know...
to your mom getting a crepe, love crepes!
Actually, that is how it is spelled. I copied it from the brochure. I'm pretty English savvy, I know how to spell Noel in normal context It was a really good story - I loved it! And yeah...... a waiter would have been better.
Oooo... the Kwanzaa story sounds really interesting, I mean, why not make a holiday where adults can have fun like children? It's almost the same as the basis for why the Disney parks were created.
And I totally agree about the Voices of Liberty, they are absolutely amazing. I've heard many acappella groups before them, but they are BY FAR the best. So on pitch and with such distinct, beautiful voices. Know what's funny too? My sisters have a picture with one of the singers! Be jealous hehe And yeah, the one in the red does look like Reese (though I also see some Jenny McCarthy).
They are the most talented group of people in the world, by far!
Oh, I love the ice cream from the Crepe stand though I think the Crepes there are AMAZING! It's funny when I got my first crepe there, I had originally bought an ice cream (vanilla), but gave it to my sister because she didn't like the crepe and I thus discovered my love for crepes. And now the Crepe stand has become famous for ice cream not the crepe. Ironic? (RIGHT KRISTEN!!!) OH and they do have the best waffle cones! (Though I don't see the frumpiness... well, I just applied to an Ice Cream place so hopefully I will understand why you think they are of the frumperverse)
I don't think you can go wrong with ice cream or crepes! And because the cones are just tilted over and a little messy looking.
Can't wait to read about you surviving the humorously large crowds!
