Good morning! This has been quite the week for everyone - you've all been real troopers through it all

No, I don't run outside. I only run on a treadmill both at home and at the gym. I went 3.5 weeks w/o running (was told to only do 'moderate' cardio) and walked and did the elliptical instead. I was glad to be back to jogging yesterday - it's quicker than walking!






JC: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your new booking of WL!!!!! The weather should be so nice and cool and little if any rain. I can't wait to hear all about your stay. It is CL, right?

Can you help me to decide where to stay? I can't decide between the BWI and YC/BC. Help...what's a girl to do?

Ohhh...I never thought of that nor have I done that. Is it hard?
I will be at WDW for only 5 days. Is it worth to do a split stay for 5 nights?

Is the BC/YC really that great or is the BWI better? I am staying Club level.
I have stayed CL before at BWI and LOVED it... I think it is the unknown that me nervous!

Welcome to the thread! I've stayed at both BWI/CL and YC/CL. We have no interest in BC/CL mainly due to the reports of a very small lounge that's generally very crowded and often chaotic. That just doesn't appeal to us at all. I don't know if it will help you, but I have a link in my signature to the BWI thread and a BWI/CL review I did from April.

I would do YC/CL again, but not BWI. I would do BWI w/o CL, but probably wouldn't end-up doing that since we like to start the day off with an easy breakfast and CL is the answer to that.

If you've already tried BWI/CL, why not try something new this time? Out of your choices, I vote for the Regatta Club.

JanetB: Sorry...got mixed up! DH and i were just laughing about Seinfeld...I often make jokes to people referencing Seinfeld and cannot believe it when some people say they have never watched it!! WHAT???

Some of us here are rather Seinfeld obsessed (not that there's anything wrong with that...) and we also can't imagine someone not having watched it (and memorized just about every episode).

OMG.. I have found my home. I can't believe I have missed this thread before. I CAN NOT COMMIT!!!!! I have buyer's remorse about everything. I have already changed my resort twice ,and after reading reviews.. about to change AGAIN! Oh geez. I am so glad I am not alone in this. My husband was listening to me ramble this afternoon and so gently kissed me on the cheek and said, "I am off to the Brave's game." Mind you, this was 3 and 1/2 hours before the game started. He was like, "You were about to start repeating yourself. I have heard this all before... gotta go." He is so over me
I was the same way on our last trip until I got a 40% pin that stated I had to pay in full and no changes could be made. It was like Disney knew what had to be done to stop the madness!!!! hehe

As they say at the DVCs... "Welcome home!" ALL of our DHs (and DDs and DSs...) have heard the RC tune many times. We're on a continuous loop of pro/cons and overly analyzing every choice we make. You'll fit in here perfectly!

So I am booked at the Wildnerness Lodge 1 bedroom villa at the moment... thinking about switching to Polynesian....Good or bad idea? I read some bad reviews at both. Dated rooms????? FYI...We just stayed at the BWV in 2011 and LOVED It. (but we want to venture out)
On a side note, we were originally thinking about staying 9 days at disney, but now are thinking we are going to do a split stay at disney and a tampa area beach. What do ya'll think about that scenario? Two trips in one. 5 night at disney and then 4 nights at a beach???? Do you see what I mean. I am ALL OVER THE PLACE. Please help . hehe

Our faithful ring leader, pas130 would support your galavanting all around FL, however, I am the voice of reason and all things great about WL/VWL, so I have to put a stop to you wanting to change to the Poly and/or head down south to Tampa.

Last August, we were booked for a WL/Poly split and after only one night at WL/CL, we canceled the Poly booking and stayed 12 nights at WL, that's how great it is! We've stayed at the Poly twice and WL many times, and if I were you, I would wait until after the rehab at the Poly to book there. I know others will disagree with me, but we prefer WL and it's service, theming and setting. I haven't stayed at VWL, but it is the highest rated DVC on AllEars

I'm a little upset this morning, DH just informed me that his work has been paying him too much for his on call weeks, and may have to take money back from us. Not a good thing.

Oh well...55 days till our trip!! (if I am calculating correctly)

Hi poly princess,The YC and BWI are both very nice resorts. We have stayed at both. We were making the same decision you're making earlier this year. For us, it basically came down to missing Stormalong Bay when we were at BWI. Stormalong Bay is a big plus for us. We also have a slight preference for CL having a dedicated floor (5th at the YC).
Honestly, though, you won't go wrong with either resort. They are both amazing places to spend a WDW vacation.
And to finish our walk around the Epcot resorts, I'll mention BC. I wouldn't select CL at the Beach Club, but we are staying there for a quick visit in Nov.

She would be adorable no matter what...not that I'm biased..It helps that her 2 big sisters wear have them too!

I forgot to say, the other night we were going through the suitcases and I found my orange bird pin from last year!

Elaine tried to spread her germs on the doctor's office phones as the docs were not inclined to help with a skin rash, and kept writing in her "chart" that she was difficult!! I decided to maybe add a couple of days at the end of the RC trip in Jan but OH NO Disney online booking was down!

I saw that yesterday. HRH had a moment which she wanted AoA so I wanted to price it out...then she quickly remembered no snack room and said "Never mind. BC"

So I have never stayed BWI CL, but it gets Fab reviews. I have stayed YC CL, and the CMs were very very nice! We didn't swim "too cold" but the pool is awesome. So scoop, please, who's going...kids...ages, adults only???? Iquiring minds want to know

A Gulf coast beach and WDW split is Perfecto!!!! IMO! 5 nights WDW...Poly! You can get a condo at the beach for cheap and do laundry there...the Poly is totally beautiful. WL is beautiful too...what appeals more tropical/monorail or woodsy/boat

How about WL CL, would be cheaper....just saying......

I worked a short shift, but was home at 11pm, had some quality quiet time with DH, and maybe 4 hrs of sleep. But it was worth it! I am off today

Faith said they dug up whale bones and all kinds of other stuff There's an area for an archeological dig, fake of course

Poly princess.....as far as being disappointed with a resort, no. However....we certainly have our favorites. I'm all about trying new resorts, and usually research my 'new' resort from top to bottom. That being said, I try to go in with an open mind, realizing that they are all different and they all have something great to offer. For example....the CR rooms are my favorite hands down, and it offers a GREAT view of Bay Lake but I'm not super crazy about the landscape...the Poly is my favorite when it comes to the lush tropical feel when you're outside. Thus far, AKL has the BEST cast members...the friendliest. Do ya see where I'm going with this....

Good luck deciding (if that ever really happens on the RC thread)

So far...still at WL, tomorrow will be 1 week, and I have 3 weeks to go! No temptation to waffle so far....but I know how I get. I feel VERY lucky to have gotten the 35% off and how many trips will DH & I REALLY get to take in the near future. And its a HM ROOM! Perfect!

No, I have not checked the availability of a Poly HM room, nor will I.......

Worlds colliding, angry seas, pirate shirts…They get themselves into a lot of bizarre situations. We still enjoy the reruns. And about Dr. VanNostrand, I’m thinking he’s probably the only Julliard trained dermatologist around!!!

Missoutandabout-Thanks for the photo!!! Guess those neighbors like lots of outdoor sports, both ancient and newer. Maybe they are trend setters! Will we see some of HGTV's wacky househunters list a trebuchet along with stainess appliances and granite countertops on their list of must-haves??!

The Kids Clubs are for ages 3-10 (potty trained)...no charge. They will be issued a braclet at the beginning of the cruise that they will keep on for the entirety. You can drop off at any time and pick up at any time....sooooooo nice!!! My kids honestly didn't want to leave...there were times when I literally had to pull them out.

I'm so sorry! My job did something similar to everyone in management two years ago. But they took it out from every paycheck instead of one lump sum.


Sarah If we can just get this darn virus out of the house I think we will be ok. We have 17 days until our trip and I need everyone to be better!



I think I have our footwear under control for the trip. I ordered a pair of Orthaheel sandals and a pair of Ryka slip-on walking shoes that I really love. Danimal is getting either Keen sandals or Crocs. Lily will just wear whatever because her little butt is staying in her stroller. I need mom to give me her half of the money for her ECV and we can reserve that.

I'm home sick today. Danimal and I are watching Disney movies and cuddling all day. Perfect day!

My 2 cents. We preferred the CL at BWI to YC and BC. BUT, I prefer the resort overall at YC/BC. Not much help, I know. I don't know if you can go wrong at an Epcot Resort.

I've never done the WL, but I LOVE the Poly! I think they are starting room refurbs soon. Although it hasn't been confirmed, there is a lot of buzz going on about it.

I do love a split. A Disney/Beach trip sounds great! One day we will probably venture off the one of the Florida beaches but so far the mouse has a pretty tight hold on us.
