Not sure this is the right spot. I know this is not Disney owned but on Disney property. My parents own timeshare with Fairfield. They happen to be on vacation right now at place in Gatlinburg. The guy of course is talking up Bonnet Creek. My sister and I were going to try and take a trip next year me and my dd and her two boys.

My question is they way I understand it you get none of the Disney perks correct? I do not want to stay that close and not get the dining plan earlky hours ect... I would almost ather not go. lol :scared: I think I am too spoiled. lol

I told my sister I would ask. We have some time to see what kind of package Disney can give us. I sure hope it's something good, or I know she is going to want to do it. :crazy2:

Its not on Disney property. Its inside the gates, but the property is not Disney. You get none of the benefits of staying onsite (EMH, Magic Express, dining plan etc). There is a thread on the orlando resorts and hotels board.

The Bonnet Creek resort is sitting on a little chunk of land that's within the borders of WDW, but is not owned by Disney.

For you as a guest, that means:

No Disney transportation
No dining plans
No charging to the room in the parks
No free parking at the parks
No EMH
No Magical Express

It's just like staying offsite, except that your location is closer to the parks than at many offsite resorts.

FWIW, I've heard lots of good things about the resort.

I'm going to send this over to the Orlando Hotels board, you'll find lots of discussion about the resort over there.

...and a few of the onsite resorts as well. When we stay at OKW, we always joke about the fact that we often pass by Bonnet's entrance on our way "home".
