Since we luv trip reports..heres my latest

I went to costco:thumbsup2
we had pizzapopcorn::
and a refillable drink:coffee:
the car-park was half empty on a Monday morning at 11.30:moped:
we looked at everything :upsidedow
the trolleys are huge :3dglasses
I had a $40 budget I set myself:woohoo:
I spent $160:mad:
I got a new bag.Its bright.:cloud9:
we left at 2pm :cool2:
We had fun.:cheer2:
But I like Walmart better.:rolleyes1

Sounds like my trips to Ikea!
But now, do you feel better because you now have a lifetime supply of items you ordinarily wouldn't purchase? On a side note, a guy that went on schoolies with me decided to buy all our groceries from costco. In the 5 days between him buying the food, and us leaving, the 10KG of steak had gone off, as had the chicken he'd bought and the 'fresh fruit' What a smart boy. Not.

I tried to have a peek in the costco at Auburn last time we were in Sydney, it was busy, and they wouldn't let me in to have a look around :headache:

and since i dont buy things in 10kg lots, i'll stick with my aldi:banana:

and I can always borrow a friends guest membership if i have to visit costco in the next 3 years....

I really like Costco, but I can never leave the joint without parting with at least $300 of our hard earned, as a result I have not renewed our membership and we have not yet gone hungry ;)

Another reason i've not renewed is it takes me 45 minutes to get there (at least) and I need to use the toll roads to get there which adds at least another $10 to the trip, if it was closer I would probably go again, but i'm not going to before our trip anyway LOL

I will however shop online at Endless.com LOL

Currently looking for zebra stripe Nine West ballet flats I spied at Chadstone last week...might just head back to Chadstone if I can't find them LOL

We went last weekend - living in Canberra we don't have huge time issues when:car: (and no tolls)

I was disappointed there was nothing special in stock for 4th July.

Our Costco is only 20min away. I love the $2.50 hotdog and drink! The pizza slices are huge too!

Our last trip to Costco a week ago I went for cereal, twiggys and dishwasher tablets, came home with those, a dog bed, 750ml bourbon, chicken mince some other things we "needed".

We don't buy a lot of food from there, mostly toilet paper, tissues, washing powder, tablets and liquids, spray and wipe, toothpaste those kind of things.

Will get DH to buy a company membership next time though, he is self employed and then technically it's not coming out of our budget :thumbsup2

Can't wait to check out Walmart when we're over there.

Like what? Fireworks? :confused3

Mainly different candy or themed food. It makes our Disney movie nights more fun popcorn::

Around Thanksgiving they had huge turkeys and pumpkin pies and for Chinese New Year they had a lot of tastings going on.

I was going to say there's still time for that stuff to come out, but holy dooley July 4th is next week! :scared1:

next week I'll do a trip report of Aldi.....or maybe even something more exciting and do it on BIG W.

my life...boring one day, really boring the next:rotfl:
