I had considered eating here when we go this summer, but most of the stuff on the menu sounds downright weird or gross.

Some of the salads sound Yummy, but it's out of my food budget, sadly.

We were really curious about this place, but we're not foodies. I see one or two things I might be willing to try, but we don't eat these kinds of meals or pay these kinds of prices for meals when vacationing or eating out elsewhere, so I'm not sure that I would want to do it here just because it's Disney. There are other Disney experiences that will probably give our family more bang for the buck.

So I just booked lunch on July 23rd. Got a better understanding of how the WOC package works:

You purchase EITHER an entree + appetizer OR an entree + dessert at regular menu pricess, and that gets you the WOC pass. This is regardless of lunch or dinner menus. I was told the adult entrees range from $19 to $41 (matches what is shown above) and the children's entrees range from $8 to $16. Appetizers range $8 - 16. Dessert was something like $8 - $13. They couldn't tell me how it works with kids meals as far as desserts go, whether there were separate kids appetizers and desserts.

Overall, it's really not too bad though, since you don't actually pay anything "extra" for the WOC passes.

I will eat anything..but the rest of the family would not eat what is posted so I think we will stick with club 33 if the chance arises.

I have reservations for June 25th. Very excited, looks yummy. It's a little pricey but, we never eat out at a nice place when we are home so, I can justify splurging at Disney on vacation. I am looking forward to the premium seating for the WOC. Last year we had gotten the picnic lunch from Napa, the seating wasn't very good with that.

Is there a WOC premium dining menu out yet for the Carthay? Or do you think they will keep the same menu? My family seems to be very excited about this menu, except for myself. Im quite picky as I dont care for duck, pork, or fish, and I dont like mushrooms and the things that sound ok have mushrooms. :crazy2: I guess I can ask for without or pick them off. But before I go ahead and consider reservations there I want to be able to see what is offered for the WOC.

But the inside of the Carthay looks pretty awesome! I am so excited they unveiled it. It looks incredible.

As I stated in an earlier post, they are saying that you order entree + appetizer OR entree + dessert and pay the regular menu price. At least, that is what they are saying.

Excellent thank you!

First, I would eat everything on this menu. It's funny how people complain about food at DLR, but when they see a menu that's a little bit sophisticated, they think, ew, look at all the things I'm going to have to pick out of my food. :rotfl: (no offense to DISers--my wife and most of my relatives are like this).

Second, I was at first taken aback by the prices, but when I compare them to the WOC dinner at AG, they are similar, or even cheaper, in price--as long as you're not buying the premium dishes, which AG did not have in the first place.

Looks yummy to me! I think we will try it for lunch.

Thank you so much for posting!

That all looks great to me, I would eat everything! Its rather spendy though, I think I would rather have huevos rancheros at storyteller's for breakfast during our quickie trip, but I don't think we have time for that either, lol! I'm guessing you can go in and take a quick peek without them getting mad, right?

Bummer that they don't have any veggie entrees aside from salad, but we'll probably still go. It looks stunning and unique, and the price doesn't matter much to us. Can't wait!

(Maybe if we make a reservation I'll ask if they can make me something special! I've never done it, but heard raves from others who have and gotten an amazing vegetarian meal out of it.)

It's different, but I expected that. Looking forward to dinner there on 18-June. I wonder why a pasta dish is priced @ market price. :confused3

About time we got some additional fine dining options at the DLR. Napa Rose is awesome but I can't eat it every night.

Is the dessert menu available?
Or will we be allowed to see it only if we eat all of our vegetables?
