This is your 24th Anniversary? But you're so young!~A 5/12 TR!*PTR link pg 49, 9/14!*

Your table at Le Cellier is the one Ben and I sat at the one time we ate there! I love the gardens in Canada- sooooo pretty.

Glad you were able to escape the terrors of the butterflies!!

AHHH This made me even more excited to eat at Le Cellier in July!! I want it NOW! 48 days! :hyper:

Sorry, but I have to go with Brandon on this one. I love the risotto! :p

Ugh, I totally agree with you about butterflies...they're creepy! :scared:

Those gardens in Canada are beautiful! That's one of those places where I really need to make it a point to wander around more!

I think you are at the table NEXT TO the one we sat at that night our ADR overlapped with you guys. Your meal looks delicious...I wish I could have that for dinner tonight!

At first, the butterfly fear seemed silly, but your explanation kind-of makes sense to me after what we saw the other day. Not a butterfly, but a GIANT (like, bat-sized) moth flying around randomly, banging into the (outside of) the window above our front door. The whole random flying and banging into things part was what really freaked me out...thank goodness it was outside and I was in!

I never realized Spaceship Earth was so warm inside. I guess we don't go to WDW much when it's real hot out, though.

Love your fancy fountain picture!

Your meal at LC looks great!! I do agree that they're giving less cheesy soup lately, I remember years ago getting practically gallons of it!

I've never heard of anyone being afraid of butterflies before, but that topiary of them looks pretty unassuming! Glad to hear you found nice Imagination music to listen to while Brandon checked out the butterflies.

Mmm, Le Cellier. I have to get myself there on an upcoming trip....I'm guessing next summer. :goodvibes

Butterflies....I can honestly say that's something I've never heard before. I am terrified of bees though. Like, run the opposite direction terrified.

As of now, the dates for our trip is 11/9-11/17, but we might add a day at the beginning or end, if i can talk Brandon into it...and I'd much rather add at the beginning to get in more F&W time! :drinking1 When are you going again? I feel like I should know this!

We'll be there until 11/10! WE MUST MEET UP! lol please???

Yummmm, Le Cellier! That's our final night ADR and I cannot waitttttt! Question: how many mushrooms are actually on the filet? Can you really taste them I mean? Chris doesn't eat mushrooms but I really want him to try the filet since people rave about it!

hahaha, that's cute that you have a fear of butterflies. I think everyones got at least one quirky fear of something right?? I'll never reveal mine tho ;) LOL

YAY for Oh Canada and yummy steaks!! We Looooove our steaks up here and know how to cook em up right, er, that is some of us do - unfortunately not DH and I  We still try from time to time but just can't grasp the way to cook a GREAT steak. What aweful Canadians we are huh??

OH! and in regards to portion sizes!! I thought the EXACT same thing when I bought school bread in Norway. I'm pretty sure it was much larger when I bought it 5 years ago!!!

HAHA about your butterfly fear! I think they are beautiful from afar, but yeah, I don't want those long legs landing on me.

We actually got a lunch ADR for next week! It is my first time going and your pictures just make me happy!

Can't wait to read to about your Beach Club drama!

The gardens are so beautiful! Wow. The food looks wonderful... I cannot wait to eat at Le Cellier!

OMG BUTTERFLIES. Hahaha I'm so glad you and I are in agreement about the terror of butterflies.

AHH THE FOUNTAIN. Great pictures!!

Beautiful F&G photos! I've never heard of anyone afraid of butterflies, either, but after reading your explanation I can see why they might be creepy, especially in large numbers! And I'm terrified of something even more innocuous... seaweed... :scared: yep, I will FREAK out if even a little of it comes near me. OMG, just thinking about it gives me the major heebie jeebies. Needless to say, I don't get in the beach water much... :lmao:

Yummm...Le Cellier is so delicious. Darn, now I'm regretting not getting an ADR there for our Oct. trip!

I share your affinity for the Epcot fountain! There's something about it that's so mesmerizing to me. I could also seriously sit there, Mickey ice cream bar in hand, and just watch it / listen to it for a long time!

Never been to Cape May, so I'm looking forward to hearing about it! :thumbsup2

Your food at Le Cellier looks wonderful. I have *gasp* never eaten there, but I am going to put it on my Must Do list for our next trip. Glad you got a good time for FP and enjoyed Spaceship Earth! Anxious to see what your "Beach Club drama" is!!!

Oh oh oh! Le Cellier looks soooo good! I have a 11:50 ADR there in Sept. I wish I were going a little earlier to hear them sing O Canada! Maybe I'll just check in a little early. And sing along. And get teary eyed because I'm homesick... :lmao:

Awww, I can't believe you don't love butterflies! I was wishing I could go to the F&G Festival just to see the butterfly house!

I totally agree with you about Epcot. I could also easily find a spot to sit (where I could hear the area music) and relax and enjoy. :thumbsup2

YUMMMM!!! Your Le Cellier meal looks mouth-watering ;)

The gardens are so beautiful :)

oh my for the long line in the land! Glad you could still get FPs though!

I love SE and my son loves it even more! On our last trip, it was his favorite ride. We went on it so many times!

Your afraid of butterflies???? I'm afraid of bees ( like everyone else lol) BUT I'm afraid of spiders like you are of butterflies.. even the teeniest and tiniest CREEP ME OUT!!! I itch and get really scared!

I have to say, everytime you post about Le Cellier, you make me wanna eat there more and more! I think this is going to be the one place I have to try the next time I visit WDW...that Filet just looks delicious.

Spaceship Earth did seem really hot! I thought I was just too hot to appreciate the A.C. but obviously not since you agree. Epcot needs to crank that cool air in the globe, especially during the part where your vehicle turns backwards...that seemed stuffy.

Sitting in Epcot, listening to the music, relaxing, sounds wonderful. What a great moment to have on your arrival day. :thumbsup2

HI!
so your bed definitely looked like a King by the angle of the picture...so you had only one queen and a daybed??? i can see how that would be disapointing...I think 2 queens, so we can keep all our luggage on the other bed...that daybed would not hold all our luggage!!

What a yummy lunch you had....Le Cellier is on ly list....I have yet to get a ADR for that place!

I can see what you mean about butterflies....they do look like they have fangs!!

I currently have a reservation for Le Cellier based on the reviews of several DIS'ers reviews in TR's!! I'm torn between there, Bluezoo, Bistro de Paris, and Via Nappoli... I can choose 2! I'm going during F&W though so not sure how many reservations I really want/need!!

Sorry your room wasn't what you were expecting. I probably would have marched back down to the front desk and offered to wait for a better room to be available that more suited your needs.

Jen- KILLER butterflies??? <--Two words that don't belong together. :lmao:

Anyway...

*cough*I didn't care for Le Cellier when we tried it.*cough* I'm sorry! I want to give it another try, if that helps. I want to get the filet with the mashed potatoes instead of the risotto b/c I just didn't like the risotto and the tables were SO close together! I also am a bit of a filet snob, thanks to my in-laws. 3-4 times a year we all choose a nice steakhouse to have a family dinner at in the city. We've been to Ruth's Chris (my favorite!), the Chop House and Smith & Wollensky. We also went to Ditka's with just the siblings and Greg and I ate in the Signature Room (John Hancock building) after we got engaged. We're going to some restaurant called Firehouse next weekend. I still want to try Cut. I LOVE steak. Can't you tell???

Oh how I wish our dates overlapped! We would have such a fun time together!!

Joining in :goodvibes

Le Cellier!! So yummy!! I would order the exact same thing and now of course my mouth is watering thinking about the food there! I think my the soup and bread is my favorite...yes over steak :rotfl:

I can't believe you are so scared of butterflies, I dont think I have ever heard someone say that before :rotfl2:

Your table at Le Cellier is the one Ben and I sat at the one time we ate there! I love the gardens in Canada- sooooo pretty.

Glad you were able to escape the terrors of the butterflies!!

That was a really nice table, I like being in the corner, away from people! That place is so crowded! :rotfl2:

Haha, me too! They were everywhere in Epcot, though, just hanging out on all the flowers, I had to run away from more than one of them...:rolleyes1

AHHH This made me even more excited to eat at Le Cellier in July!! I want it NOW! 48 days! :hyper:

Sorry, but I have to go with Brandon on this one. I love the risotto! :p

Ugh, I totally agree with you about butterflies...they're creepy! :scared:

AHHH I want it now too! I'm so jealous that in 48 days you're going to be eating at Le Cellier while I'm stuck in boring old CT, probably sweating my butt off, because we'll be in the middle of a 3 week heat wave. :rotfl:

I like the risotto too, I got it once before I realized you could swap it for the mashed potatoes, but then when I realized you could do that, I never looked back...those potatoes are amazing!

YES butterflies are creepy! I like to look at them when they are far away, but when they get close, forget it, I freak out!

Those gardens in Canada are beautiful! That's one of those places where I really need to make it a point to wander around more!

I think you are at the table NEXT TO the one we sat at that night our ADR overlapped with you guys. Your meal looks delicious...I wish I could have that for dinner tonight!

Love your fancy fountain picture!

OMG I forgot we were at Le Cellier at the same time! Makes sense why I didn't see you now, we were all the way on the other side of the restaurant! I wish we could have at least said hi or something!

Ugh, I don't like moths either, because of that weird banging into things while flying that they do! I'm not a fan of anything that flies, really, now that I think about it. I like birds, but I wouldn't want one flying right at me! :rotfl2:

I think SE is always warm, even when we go in November and it's not that hot in Disney, it's weird! Maybe it's just too big to keep cool or something? :confused3

It was great, I'd love to be there right now eating some cheddar cheese soup, yum! Yeah, they're getting kind of stingy with the soup...maybe next time I'll order a bowl of it!

Yeah, my butterfly fear baffles a lot of people, but I just can't help it, they're kind of scary! It was nice having a few minutes to myself to go listen to my Innoventions music!

Mmm, Le Cellier. I have to get myself there on an upcoming trip....I'm guessing next summer. :goodvibes

Butterflies....I can honestly say that's something I've never heard before. I am terrified of bees though. Like, run the opposite direction terrified.

YES go to Le Cellier, it's the best place ever!!! :thumbsup2

Haha, watch, now that I've pointed out my butterfly fear to you, you will be hearing other people say they're afraid of them too! I hate bees. Butterflies just kind of freak me out, but bees I'm actually deathly afraid of!

I just got caught up on your Disneymoon PTR last night and realized we would be there the same days! And if you are going to eat at Le Cellier on 11/9, we should definitely meet up, because we'll be in Epcot that night!

There are not many mushrooms at all, and they are right on top, so you can just push them aside. I always put mine on Brandon's plate because I hate mushrooms and he loves them, so that works out! And I've heard people ask for the filet with no mushrooms, in fact, I'm pretty sure we've had servers ask if we're ok with getting mushrooms on top. I think not liking mushrooms is pretty common! :thumbsup2

Haha, yeah, I guess everyone is afraid of one weird thing! :rotfl:

I didn't even know Canada was known for steak until I discovered Le Cellier! Makes me want to take a trip up there!

Yeah, the portion sizes at Disney are getting smaller and smaller. Ridiculous, considering they keep raising the price of the dining plan! :confused3

HAHA about your butterfly fear! I think they are beautiful from afar, but yeah, I don't want those long legs landing on me.

We actually got a lunch ADR for next week! It is my first time going and your pictures just make me happy!

Can't wait to read to about your Beach Club drama!

I think butterflies are pretty from afar too, but yeah, I don't want them anywhere near me!

Yay I'm so happy you're going to Le Cellier you are going to love it!

The Canada section in Epcot is so pretty, the gardens were amazing, so colorful! I can't wait for you to eat at Le Cellier!

Haha, I'm glad there are people on here who understand how terrifying butterflies are!

I love the Fountain! I wish I was standing in front of it right now! :sad1:

Beautiful F&G photos! I've never heard of anyone afraid of butterflies, either, but after reading your explanation I can see why they might be creepy, especially in large numbers! And I'm terrified of something even more innocuous... seaweed... :scared: yep, I will FREAK out if even a little of it comes near me. OMG, just thinking about it gives me the major heebie jeebies. Never been to Cape May, so I'm looking forward to hearing about it! :thumbsup2

Haha, yeah, not many people get the "afraid of butterflies" thing, I understand that it's a little weird! I can't even say anything about your seaweed fear, because we all have something strange that we are afraid of! :rotfl:

I'm sure if you stalked the Disney dining website, you could get an ADR for Le Cellier, I do it all the time when I really want an ADR and if I'm obsessive enough, I can usually find one!

Isn't the Epcot fountain amazing? I love it so much! Next time I will have to watch it with a Mickey bar, that sounds perfect! :thumbsup2

Your food at Le Cellier looks wonderful. I have *gasp* never eaten there, but I am going to put it on my Must Do list for our next trip. Glad you got a good time for FP and enjoyed Spaceship Earth! Anxious to see what your "Beach Club drama" is!!!

OMG Le Cellier is amazing! You definitely have to go on your next trip!

I'm glad we got a good FP time too, those Soarin' FP's go pretty quickly now, it seems, with TT being closed!

:thumbsup2

You should check in early and hear O Canada, I'm sure they would love to have you sing along! :thumbsup2 And who knows, maybe you would even get seated early!

I mean, I don't dislike butterflies, I don't want any harm to come to a butterfly, I think they are pretty! But I just don't want a million of them flying around me! Brandon made me to in the butterfly house on our Disneymoon 2 years ago, and I ran through, ducking and screaming, and everyone looked at me...soooo embarrassing...:rolleyes1

I don't know what it is about the Epcot area music, but I love it! My perfect night at Epcot would just be wandering around, with a margarita in my hand, for a few hours, listening to all the music and then watching Illuminations. I wouldn't even have to go on an attraction, just being in Epcot is good enough for me!
