so now need to wait till July 1St to book my DVC Grand Californian villas for either the whole time or just 7 nights and one night at a cheaper location near the park....

I'm freaking out.....:badpc:

i just needed to hear that....

I spent $3100 EACH for prem econ ANZ this sept......havent flown econ for longer than 10 hrs in years.....

panic!!!!!!!!!:scared:

it's a great deal and i'm so happy for you...

i was so, so, so tempted to book for our dates this year.. i could have got the 2 of us there and back on qantas for $1700 total but our vaustralia tickets are non-refundable. gah!!!

when we stay at disneyland, we stay at the desert inn & suites, which is directly across from the entrance on south harbor blvd. it's clean and nice and has free wifi, but it's no contempo resort at BLT.

the park vue inn (also directly across from the entrance on south harbor blvd) is also really nice, i've heard lots of good things about it.

if you're looking for the best accomodation in the area though, you'd need to look onsite at either the Grand Californian or the Disneyland Hotel, although the Grand Californian is definitely the closest onsite accomodation (might be slightly closer than some of the places on south harbor blvd).

whichever way you go, i'm sure you'll have the most amazing time :)

Oh how wonderful it would be to be able to travel on a whim and during school term time! I can only dream about being able to do that :littleangel: I am envious but very happy for you Karen pixiedust:

its funny, but i am leaving in week 2 of term 1......just as well my boss is cool about it.......:crazy2:

That's an awesome deal! The best we've ever has to lax was $880 ! What fun to have another trip to plan :cool1:

I agree with travelmum, Im dreaming of the dAy that we don't have to travel over school holidays, it makes such a difference with the deals .

Will enjoy reading about your plans, I'd love to see all the changes in DCA since we last went.

:wave2: the dollar is going up again............:stir:

Awesome deal! Well done. It's been many a year since I visited DL, so I'm not much help in the accommodation planning. Have fun though :)

Oh lucky you, I am so envious. We are not travelling until Sep 2013.
I'm sure you will love Disneyland :)

Great deal :thumbsup2

And going in February :thumbsup2

Last year we stayed at the Fairfield Inn. Nothing fantastic but it was fine for the limited time we were in the room. Cool view of the park and an easy walk to the park. It is right next door to McDonalds.

Yeah that's a good deal... Qantas you say? Which dates?

I am so excited for you - and just a tiny bit jealous as well, even though we will be there in Sept/Oct this year.

I was just letting that tiny worm of a thought into my head that we could go back for a week for DD's 15th birthday, but I've already talked my way into the last week of term 3 and the first week of term 4 off, don't like my chances of any more extra holidays. Anyway, we really, really, really need new carpet - even more than we need another trip to DL:scared1: (did I really just say that?)

I'm sure you're going to love everything about Disneyland!

we've already committed to this trip this year, and a big trip with my sis and carlo's brother next year in sept, so i don't think we can also swing an extra trip in...

so, so, so jealous :)
