edge? as in to the right? left? middle? what are you referring to? There are designated spots to the right of ROA for wheelchairs and in my experiences, if you have one or an ecv, they wont let you just put it anywhere..the only luck I ever had was right at the back where they draw the ropes...for most of the years since F! has been in operation, the people in front of the ropes sat while the the ones behind the ropes stood...a couple years ago they randomly changed that and would not let ANYBODY sit during the time we were there and I was lucky enough to have a really nice lady let me take my grandkids to the front railing so they could see...I dont know if that was a trial run or what but I went to wdw last year so didnt get to go to DL at all so I have no idea what they are doing but i would be interested to find that out

If you want to be in the regular sitting area with the wheel chair, I believe you have to be in the back. When we did it last year, we sat at the back middle sitting area, and it was a good view..

Just as the pp said that if you want to have a wheelchair, stroller, ECV, etc. in the sit down area right by the RoA, they have to be at the back of rope off area. I personally like the back part of the rope off area if you have someone in a stroller, wheel chair, etc. since you are in the middle and for the other people they can sit down tall and don't have to worry about the people behind you.
