Daytime Water Show on Paradise Bay Called MELODY TIME???

Looks like there might be a new summer water show in the paradise bay called "Melody Time". It's a five minute show and it was on the the Disneyland Calendar for the summertime but since they have pulled it off.

So far this is all rumors but it looks like they will finally be using the World of Color fountains in the daytime!

What do you all think?

Does anyone remember the cartoon "Melody Time"?

I think it would be cool to have some type of daytime show. I say if you gottem might as well use them.

It's back on the calendar. And they did use them during Disney Channel Rocks and I think they used them very well during that.

Yep, it will be a daytime water show and there are still a few other little surprises in the works! Hopefully it will all happen a month from now! Just keep checking the calendar!

Do a different show every half hour, and have the water perform to a different song each show. The DCA version of the Bellagio fountain show.

Can't give specifics, but there are possible a few more character shows happening and a small night time show in BVS! Its all still being talked about and worked on but more, if not all of it, will happen. Its all suppose to happen by June 15th or might debut a few weeks later if they cant get it together in time, but believe me they are throwing all kinds of entertainment at this park and they are constantly adding and mending things. Melody Time for example was in discussion if it suppose to happen opening day or maybe the following week, but it looks like it will be there opening day now!

Just keep looking at the calendar!

Actually that was ALWAYS part of the plan from the beginning! Steve Davison, the creator of the show, said in 2009 they wanted to have day time shows at some point. Little vinette type shows! I imagine they probably wanted it within the first year but the show proved to be more complicated than they thought and the platform called for a lot more maintenace than probably originally thought as well so it never happened...until now!

And btw, it looks like its off the calender AGAIN lol!! I just checked it. I have no idea why they keep putting it on and taking it off but as I said they are still doing a lot of mending and changes with the smaller shows! Seem like they would keep it off until all the details are final though!

But pretty certain it will be there opening day regardless!

Nothing on the Disneyland Calendar yet......

but, during the media event on the 14th, there is a performance during the afternoon referred to as "Maestro Goofy Conducts the Fountains". Hmmmmmm...

That would be fun to watch. Going late summer, but I would assume that it would still be going if it is.

We have the DVD of the Melody Time and the kids love it. Glad they are referencing something from old Disney Work.

Ok, looks like they FINALLY made it official:

So it has been official, Melody Time will happen, but with Goofy as it was mentioned a few days ago. And the character shows I alluded to are now there as well! AND there is still the Buena Vista Street night time show that is suppose to be happening, but not sure if it will happen at opening now! My guess is if its not announced by next week it probably wont happen until later but it SHOULD happen!

Anyway, like I said they are throwing everything at this park this summer! I cant wait to check out the Dancin With Disney day time party! I think its going to be fun to see kids dancing with their favorite characters!

I got so excited about Disneyland just listening to it...
