The Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café will be opening in DCA on June 15.

Do you know what the name of the café is referring to?

Here's a hint: Anaheim's Food and Beverage team sometimes calls it the Pig Café (according to Al Lutz).

According to the article that's posted below: "The Starbucks logo will not be posted outside, although the name will be printed vertically on posts on either side of the entry way."

Nothing. But disney has to theme the bakery/cafe something that fits with the theme of Buena Vista street and the disney parks. I think the 3 pigs cartoon was done around the time frame they are going for on BV street. The 3 pigs cartoon was done in 1933 and BV street is set around that time frame. Carthay Circle theater (restaurant) is where Snow White debuted in 1937.

The area around the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe and Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream features
plenty of shade and outdoor seating.

The Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe is the first Starbucks location to open inside a Disney theme park.

The Practical Cafe’s 134-seat dining room is really gorgeous and open.

We had some desert there yesterday. I can't top the photos but I can tell you that the cupcake we shared was out of this world good. It was chocolate with some sort of chocolate mousse along with fresh rasberries inside.

I wish I could tell you more about it but I was so enjoying it I didn't take the time to get a picture or note the ingredients.

The seating is really inviting and comfortable. Big upgrade from the previous offerings in this space.
