DisDads meet!​

We will be in Disney World June 1st to June 9th! We rented the premium cabana all day and night at the Poly on June 7th. I am a family of 5 the capacity is 10 so there is room for another 5. Anyone interested and will be there at that time meet up there for some drinks and a swim! If you can't make it there we could always meetup somewhere else.!

Congrats again to both of you, plus Barry and Patrick. Disney must be pretty happy with the Dis Dad progeny explosion. Two Princesses and two Princes needing a Disney visit. Need to buy more stock. And I am glad I stayed away from the water you guys were drinking a year ago.

Off to a charity event. It is outdoors and the weather is bad. Hopefully the rain will hold off until this afternoon.

Saturday morning ownage.

any plains for 2013 yet norm?

In two more days, I get to use my new BWV points to book Spring Break 2013. That first Sunday is Easter, so our plans are to book Vero Beach at the 7 month mark. But, if there is no availability, we will just have to settle for BWV.

We also have the Dream booked for October 2013. We will stay at resort (to be determined later) on Sat, drive to Port Sun morning, cruise, check back into BLT on that Thursday and hope to catch a MNSSHP. If not, we might just pick the park with EMH and stay late before we leave the next morning. DW has hinted that she wants to stay at WDW two days after the cruise, but I really don't like driving home on Saturday. It's just not enough time to get back into the routine before Monday begins.

Back from refereeing girls U8 game. Had a player charge another (hit with shoulder) deliberate and knock her to the ground. Now, this league does not permit cautions at this age, but I would have given here a Yellow card it was that bad and intentional of a hit. I still called the foul and awarded the kick, but I really don't understand what coaches are teaching kids nowadays.

So, it turns out my team has to play them tomorrow. My daughter is an aggressive player, but I have not taught her a slide tackle or charge. Part of me is tempted .....

Been a busy morning.

Turns out DW's father had a minor stroke last night (they always seem to say minor but who really knows huh?).

They want to keep him in the hospital for about a week to keep monitoring him. We haven't seen him yet, but apparently he has limited movement in his arm, and speech is a bit slurred. Although he says he feels fine now.
