I'm new to Seaworld and anything outside the Disney gates. :laundy:
I was told, since we're staying at Seaworld during April 2013 spring school vacation week to get the Discovery cove/Dophin swim package as soon as it becomes available; don't wait for a promo code or discount, it will sell out fast. :hourglass
I checked the Discovery Cove web site and saw tickets still available for Christmas 2012 and Febuary 2013 school vacation weeks and they are expensive at $259 for the Dophin swim + $59 for the Sea Venture water walk. :teacher:
From the looks of the available tickets on the Discovery Cove web site the April 2013 tickets won't be avilable until June 2012. :surfweb:
Am I planning way too far ahead; should I be looking for, are there ways to save a buck or should I plan on paying the rack rate when the tickets become available? :confused3

Thanks, Good Luck All,
Joe

They do go fast. We did this in 2005 and it was totally worth the money. They can only have a limited amount of people in the park at a time so I would recommend going ahead and buying them.

Also, your tickets to Discovery Cove also include your lunch and (at least back in 2005) any sunscreen, equipment, and some snacks and drinks. Plus you'll have tickets to SeaWorld.

I will never forget that experience, and neither will my daughter (she was 9 at the time). It was amazing.

Unless things have changed since then...maybe someone has more up to the minute info?

I would buy early if you are going during spring break. I doubt you will find any discounts that time of year though so it will more than likely be the $259 or higher price.

The price does include breakfast, lunch, snacks, equipment and drinks (yes even some alcohol). It is well worth it plus you get a 14 day ticket to your park of choice (SW, BG, AQ) or or a little more all 3.
