Disney bus steps

Hello! Would someone be able to tell me if all of the Disney buses now have only one step that is close to the ground to get on the bus? I believe last time I was at Disney a driver told me they were phasing out the buses with the three stairs, but I could be mistaken. Thank you for any information!

There are very few of those old buses left and they are being phased out.
On our last trip in October 2011, we only saw 2 of them and did not ride in any.

If one happens to show up, let the driver know that you need a different bus and why. They should be able to call and make sure the next bus is a low step bus.

They have almost got rid of all his with steps to board you are more likely to see a low floor bus then the old one they should if not gone. They have or getting very shortly a new order of gillig buses so that should do it or bring I to the point where they only use the old buses if it very busy.

True and agree.

Just added to post my experience so that nobody gets to excited when reading only 2 spotted. Don't want anybody getting too hyped up yet. Apparently it can hugely depend on time of year, resort, time of day, destination and luck or not. As posted previously, my last stay this december was a nutty one when it comes to the old busses. In a mere 6 nights at YC, I couldn't have counted the numbers of old busses on 2 -or more- hands. And this is when only needing busses for limited destinations. Got so noticable that out of the 6 busses that hit the stop in about 10 or 15 minutes one day, 5 were the old styled ones. :confused3

Next I moved over for 11 nights at SSR. Can't remember seeing even one old stye bus. Most likely will have been there, but not soo many it became something I'ld even notice.

They have a new orde of gillig bus in the shop waiting to become Disney buses tey adding more to handle the new aos resort and to replace e old buses. Disney wants to get rid of the old buses as Badly as we do their coast to much to maintain. So I say by the end of the year if not sooner we will never see an old bus owned by Disney.
