I have not red specifically about that resort, but do know they have been updating th accessible rooms at most resorts to make it possible for groups of more than 2 to stqy in one room. Its possible they replaced the king bed witg a queen and now have 2 queens. Getting a queen and a king in one room would be very diffucult wiiut making the rooms larger.

You can contact Special Reservations and ask. Their number is listed n the disABILITIES FAQs thread under the post about room accommodations.

Thats why I found it odd to have 1 king 1 queen... I would think 2 queens would be the "norm". We have never stayed at WL due to the fact all three of us could not stay in one room with a roll in shower so I am happy that they can accomodate all of us ( I hope)

I stayed in a roll-in shower room in 2010 at WL that had 1 king only - but if they are doing renovations it may not be the same now.

It was on the first floor, room 1018 I think. I LOVED that room.

It would be extremely odd for a hotel room to have one king bed and one queen bed in one room. It doesn't make sense. You could get a quick answer by simply calling and asking.

I did call WDW and they said it was 1 king and 1 queen in the roll in shower room... It just really is strange to me and even though they said it I refuse to believe it!

There's an old saying that applies here.

Don’t believe everything you hear and only half of what you see.

Personally I wouldn't trust the WDW phone operators to answer this question. Maybe someone at the WL front desk has the answer but most of them will probably just look in the system instead of checking out the room.

I visited POFQ last May right after the rehab was finished. I was surprised to be assigned a room with 2 queen beds and a roll-in shower. So I stopped at the front desk to ask how many of the roll-in shower rooms had been converted to 2 queen beds. The two people I talked to said that they were surprised to hear that any roll-in shower room had 2 beds. But then one person said that all of the roll-in shower rooms had 2 beds and none had a single king bed. But, if you go to book a room at POFQ right now they seem to offer both a 2 queen bed option and a single king bed option.

Until people start reporting back on the actual rooms they had I'd take any Disney room descriptions as just possibilities. But either way your needs will be accommodated.
