Disney Y.E.S. Program

I'm confused....Are all you guys apart of a group of 10 or more? Or can my family of 4 (2 ad, 2 kids) take part in this as well....I tried to read some of the thread but couldn't find my answer :-( thanks for any help! I'd love to do this but I always thought i

Just go to the YES registration page, click 'register now' for either WDW or DL and then select Individual Enrollment eduction program. Enter the dates you're interested in and see if any classes are still open/available.

You do not need to be part of a group, but classes are only offered on specific dates/times/

Anyone know if we can add the Dining option to our tickets or room if we are with the YES program?

Can you get the dining plan for say a week with a 2 day ticket package? As long as you're in the resort for that week?

A "package" is defined as a room booked for any length, plus Magic Your Way tickets. The length of the tickets does not matter, within restrictions (2-day tickets are required for free dining - not sure if two days are required for paid-for dining, but at least a 1-day is for sure). So if you have YES tickets this trip and still want dining, you can get the minimal ticket as part of the package, but keep the tickets for a future trip (they can be upgraded - just don't accidentally use them!)

DVC members and AP holders can get the dining plan without ticket purchases.

Forgot to add: the Dining Plan is always booked for the length of your resort reservation (dining points are per night of stay). You can't just book 3 days of a 7 night stay, unless you book "split" stay (two linked reservations), and even then, the points are restricted to the days of the reservation they are booked for.

Yes. You can get the dining plan for the number of nights you stay at the resort. I think it needs to be every member in your party. So you would need to buy the tickets and dining plan for everyone staying in that room. Does that make sense? Also, like PP mentioned you can save them the purchased tickets for a future trip. Just have them take them off you KTTW cards and keep them somewhere safe so you don't use them by accident. They are good as long as they are not used. HTH and good luck!

Individual family groups can take advantage of YES during certain times of year. First, go here for the overview

http://www.disneyyouth.com/individual-enrollment/overview/

Then click programs on the left side of the screen and on the next page, choose WDW or DL to sort the classes.

The click sign up now under any class, and you will be able to see which classes are open. Enter you arrival and departure dates at the top and it will narrow the choices to your time frame.

Check the box of an open class you would like to register for and submit.

Then enter the names of everyone in your party and submit. On the next page, check who will be going to the class and submit.

Next, choose your tickets and then you will do contact information and payment.

That's about it.

Awesome THANKs! My laptop died in the middle of posting, hence the lack of final thought!:rotfl2:

Hello everyone. We just registered my DGS for the YES program on his birthday. He will be 5 that day! He is traveling with us, his mom (our soon to be new daughter in law) my DS and my DD. My DS who will soon be his stepfather is registered as his primary adult and my DD is going to chaperone him to the program. She is 20 and is excited to be taking him.

Since we have not done this before I wanted to ask you guys a question. Will my DD have any problem being his adult chaperone since she is his "step"-aunt? When we registered it said for families of one child you could also register for one parent and one adult chaperone. She really wants to take him, and his mom was fine with that.

Just thought I would check with you who have done this program before. Also, do we need a copy of his birth certificate to show that he is 5?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who is providing all the information about the YES program. We just bought our tickets and saved $500 off the undercover tourist price! Our family says a big THANK YOU!

Anyone know about AP holders taking the class?
Do you have to buy a ticket packege to take the class, or just pay the $28?

The $28 is for an additional child as part of the same package. YES tickets are required to be purchased.

No, you don't need a birth certificate ; )

You do realize that you will only be able to purchase 2 adult discount park passes/child enrolled. So if your DS and your DD are the adult and chaperone, then you and the child's mother will need to buy park tickets elsewhere. No big discount. I'm not sure who is paying for what, but that is something to consider.

"letsgoreds" Yes, we know that only two adult tickets are purchased at the reduced rate. We were planning on everyone purchasing tickets at full price when we arrived, so the reduced rate for just their three tickets is a big savings. We are really excited that there was a program available for him while we were there!

Thanks so much for your response. By the way... does your username refer to the Cincinnati Reds? My DD and DS are HUGE Reds' fans! They will surely be wearing their Reds' gear while visiting the World this summer. lol.

Boy am I glad I didn't go ahead and buy our YES tickets!!! My kids Fall Break dates got changed!!! Phew! I hate having to hold out to buy them now, but I'm going to have to. Here's hoping their prefered classed doesn't fill up before we can get them paid for.....

I just thought I would let everyone know that they are very nice if your dates change for ticket pickup. I had originally thought we would be arriving Aug 24th and put that down as our arrival date but airfare was a lot less on the 23rd so we are now flying in a day earlier and leaving a day earlier than planned. I was nervous about calling and asking to push our pu date up, but they were very nice and accommodating about it!! Note: we didn't need to change our class date, just our arrival and pick up date. Anyway, I thought I would let you all know that just incase anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation. :)

BTW, does anyone know how late you can pick up tickets until? Are they open into the evening at the ticket counters for pu or no? Thanks!
