Have I over extended ourselves on CC?

This is my first time cruising on DCL so I want to know if I went overboard with activities on Castaway Cay. I booked me and my DD (13) for the morning Seahorse snorkel trip, 100pm stingray adventure and 330pm parasailing. We're not much on lazing around in beach chairs and want to stay busy, especially since we will arrive after our day at sea?

If you have done any of these activities how would you rate them?

Thanks so much!!!!

I say yes, but I love sitting for at least a little while to absorb the beauty of CC and to take a million pictures. We were there last Friday and the day goes SOOOOO FAST!!! Remember to add in time for shopping and lunch. You may have lines for both.

My DD's (18) and (15) and my DH parasailed three years ago at CC. Our friends that were with us last week tried it and all six of them loved it! Beware of being dunked! Leave a dry shirt on the boat! Also, remember a waterproof camera to take pictures for all your CC excursions, especially parasailing! What a view!

Last week, my four girls and my DH all snorkeled at CC. We brought our own gear, so we don't pay for the excursion. All were very impressed with the snorkeling there! They saw some amazing sights!

Don't worry about being overbooked! You can sleep when you get back home! Enjoy!

That would be too much for me. I know myself and I would be cranky and ready for a nap after all that.

too much for me - I would skip the snorkel trip! Although I have been to CC 5 times and not once did they do the parasailing - it was too windy!

If you like being busy, you will probably be fine. Just remember to slather on plenty of high spf sunscreen. We only had spf 30 and reapplied a couple of times and got absolutely roasted and ruined our last night onboard. We were miserable. I learned the hard way that the closer you are to the equator, the stronger the sun's rays. Now, it's my mission to warn others not to make the same mistake! Have a great cruise!

it doesn't sound like too much to me...we also like being active there...

remember to leave time for lunch..

also, what about biking?
we really enjoyed renting bikes and riding over to the bike trail near the adult beach - it's not part of the adult beach, so kids are allowed there..

by the way, what's the seahorse snorkel trip?

A Catamaran takes you into the open sea to the north side of the island to snorkel on one of the natural reefs. I haven't been able to find any reviews, but it sounded pretty good on the Disney Cruise site. I am hoping someone here can fill me in on the details.

Thanks everyone!

I plan on snokeling in a tshirt, thanks for the reminder, the sun is definitely brutal. :thumbsup2

MUCH better than just snorkeling the trail off the beach.....answered on the other thead, too.

I'd say "GO FOR IT ALL"!!! Where else can you do all those things in one day? There's nothing else to do there besides sit in the heat, may as well be busy having fun!

Be sure to leave some energy for packing, dinner, the last show, Til We Meet Again and the last picture line at Shutters.
