I booked a trip for my family last night. I am so excited because this is my first DCL cruise! We have wanted to do it for some time now, but I finally decided to go for it when the 2013 dates were released. It is going to be hard to wait this long, but I hope that you fellow passengers will help me!

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

Hi, we just booked this cruise this morning. It will be our 2nd DCL cruise and we are super excited.

We booked 2 staterooms for the 5 of us while on the Thanksgiving cruise to Mexico. Finally getting a chance to see a new ship (all past cruises have been on the Wonder).

We also have 2 staterooms with 5 adults and 2 kids. We are so excited to cruise the on Fantasy. We did a Christmas cruise on the Dream in 2011 and loved it but it was too short!! We also did the FE exchange which was a blast....would love to do that again.

Wow, can't believe there is a group already forming! It seems like the cruise is SO far away. I just moved a dummy date we booked when we were on The Dream last March to this sailing. We have 2 cabins for 8 of us: Me, DH, DS12 (at cruise time) and DD10 plus my sister, brother in-law and DNephew 13 and DNiece 10. We did the FE last time and loved it.

We just took a great cruise on the Voyager of the Seas for Christmas (RCCL). Had a great time, but nothing beats Disney. We are so excited for The Fantasy and hoping it has a better layout than The Dream, or at least bigger pools!

Hey "Cinder" Ella's Mom-

Don't forget that you finally talked your DB and his DW and DD (4) into joining you!!! :cheer2:

Looking forward to some good family time and letting DD hang out with her cousins! :dance3:

YES, I did! :yay:So now we will be a party of 11, but hoping our other DS and her family will join us too! She did ask me what the date of the cruise was yesterday, so maybe....

Can't wait to start hearing more about the ship once people have sailed!

Just got off the Dream last week and booked this cruise while on board. Has anyone taken young kids (ages9-7) to these ports? Any suggestions on port adventures?

Hi all just off the Fantasy last week and we rebooked for this cruise as the ship is amazing!! I'm Nick, my Wife is Allison and we have two Daughter's Victoria 9 & Olivia 6. We did the magnet and FE exchange and both were fantastic!!

I am so excited to see more people joining this cruise! My DD is almost 9 now, as is her cousin, so our girls will be around the same age on the cruise. Was the magnet exchange the same idea as a F/E? I have never heard of this! We have cruised many times, but never to these ports, so we would also love some port excursion advice!

Your girls will have a blast in the Oceaneer's lab & club, it was pulling teeth with our Daughter's to leave. Our Daughter's made friends easily in the youth clubs and loved playing with them everyday. The magnet exchange was you either design or purchase a magnet that can be anything, such as disney, where your from or anything you want. You then go stick them in people's doors. Our girls had a blast doing that along with the FE exchange.... We rebooked to Fantasy cause the ship & service was spectacular & we weren't able to do everything we wanted to on the ship. Only 14 months 12 Days and 17 Hours until we depart but whose counting......

Hi everyone,

We have booked this cruise in january and we are counting the days (420). We are a family from Germany and Holland with 3 adults and one child, girl 8 years when cruising. Could anyone explain me what the magnet thing is and what F/E means?

The FE is the Fish Extender. It hangs on the Fish outside your cabin door on the cruise ship. You can search "Fish Extender" on the internet and find lots of examples. I looked at lots of the pics and made my own. You can also search on the DIS boards and there are lots of posts about them. They have pockets for each person in the cabin. You sign up on here to be part of the group and then exchange gifts during the cruise. It is lots of fun. I haven't seen anyone actually start the list for this cruise yet. The magnet exchange is a little different. There is a sign up for the cabins who want to participate and then you give a magnet to each cabin on the list (usually 1 per cabin). You can either give one from your home area, or make one that is Disney or anything that you want actually. I have never done this but I think it sounds like fun! Looking forward to this cruise!!!! Hope that answers your questions without confusing you even more :flower:http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/aniflower.gif
