Doing a Disney cruise in June, have ? on the plane ride down.

I've only flew on Southwest before (and only a handful of times at that)

I do require a selt belt extension whle flying on SW.

We're taking Jet Blue this time though. Can someone who has flown on both, tell me if there are any differences in seat sizes? I'm assuming that I'll need an extension on this flight as well, but what about the width of the seats? About the same? Smaller/wider?

This website might be helpful - it lists the general size of plane seats for each airline and then gives specifics for individual flights. But, be aware that last minute substitutions can occur and sometimes an individual airline may have a contract with another company or regional airline to fly individual legs of flights.

For JetBlue, they list 2 types of planes, with economy seating:

Airbus A320 (320)
34.0” Seat Pitch
17.8” Seat Width

Embraer ERJ-190 (E90)
33.0'’ Seat Pitch
18.0” Seat Width

This is what it says for SouthWest:
Boeing 737-300 (733)
32.0-33.0” Seat Pitch
17.0” Seat Width

Boeing 737-500 (735)
32.0-33.0” Seat Pitch
17.0” Seat Width

Boeing 737-700 (73G)
32.0-33.0” Seat Pitch
17.0” Seat Width

So, it looks like you should be pretty much the same on JetBlue and you were on SouthWest.
Seat Pitch = the distance between the front of a point on the seat back and the same point on the seat behind it. In general, a higher number in the seat pitch equals more room, but things like how the seat is constructed and just how thick the back is can make a difference too.

Most economy seats are between 17-18" wide. Make sure you can sit in your seat with the armrests down.
