Checking out local football team schedule, we noticed there will be preseason football while we are on board the Dream. It would be an ESPN broadcast, so I assume it will shown on board....

My question is if it is shown in one of the lounges (where there is alcohol) will they allow my 15yo son in to watch the game with me? He won't be very happy if they turn him away.

Thanks...

We were cruising during football season. The Georgia Tech game was presented on the funnelvision on deck. Grab a deck chair and gather round.... This past week, we were on the Fantasy for the basketball semifinals and the finals. Before 9:00, minors were permitted in O'Gills to watch the game. After 9:00, they were excluded from the bar. ESPN was on the television in the stateroom.

I'm not sure what games you're planning on watching but if some of them are during the day while you're in Nassau, take your son and head over to the Fish Fry. You can both eat great local food and watch football while you drink a beer.

My 13 year old DS and I did a mom/son cruise together last October and when we were at the Sheraton at Cable Beach, I realized we were missing the TX/OU game. We had an excellent time watching it at the Fish Fry on the way back to the ship. Probably the highlight of our cruise. I wish I could remember exactly which restaurant it was. I think it was Oh Andros, but it might have been Goldies.

Its the Monday night Patriots at Eagles game. It starts 8PM Philly time. Next question.... do we change time zones going to Castaway cay or Nassau? If so, that really messes with game time.

Our plans were for my older daughter (23), myself and the 16 yo (starts the cruise 15, ends the cruise 16!) to go to a lounge and watch the game while us two old folks have a beer. Guess we aren't doing that! :sad2:

The Bahamas are all in the Eastern Time Zone, so no, you won't be switching time zones at either.
