rebooking timing question

Not sure if this has been asked. I searched but did not see it. I am curious.

If you did rebook while on a cruise -

what was the shortest time before you are sailing again?

What was the longest time before you are sailing again?

You could actually rebook for the next cruise after the one you are on. You can book out till the last date that they have available. For example you could book out into most of 2013. Then when the 2014 dates are released as long as you are not past your paid in full you can move a non-concierge reservation easily. Concierge bookings have a few more restrictions and the ability to move them is getting more limited. Just curious is there a specific reason you are asking?

Hi - I figured you could rebook for next cruise or last cruise. I was curious for those who have rebooked - what was the shortest and longest for you personally.

Just really curious how fast we all go into withdrawl and have to get back on board. :)

There is also a recent thread about the shortest, basically a few people have booked the next cruise for various reasons. Personally we book about a year in advance and usually when the first bookings come out. We have had several cruises in a month's time but they have all been booked in advance. But with the IGT,OGT,VGT rates last minute bookings/rebookings seem much more possible.

Shortest--I don't know, but I know people who have booked the next cruise.

Longest--Christmas, 2011 we cruised on a reservation we'd made in 2005. I just kept pushing it forward.

wow. that was pushing it forward.

In October 2010 we rebooked for June 2012 and ended up on the March 2012cruise. Rebooked for March 2013 but are thinking of pushing it out...
