Tweens on CC

There are planned activitites through the Edge....as all the kids' programs move off the ship on CC day. Mine, however, choose to stay with the family on the Family Beach. We do the bike ride around the island and Pelican Plunge is a lot of fun.

If mine weren't on the water play structures, Pelican Plunge and the other one I can't remember right now, they were in "In Da Shade". Its an arcade of sorts with pool tables, ping pong, shuffle board etc. Basically just roaming CC with other tweens! Or eating. Or snorkeling. Or eating. Repeat....

Thanks. Is there an special area they go to meet?? Guess it will be in the navigator.

There is a ton of stuff to do on CC. For us in the past we just dropped the kids off at their clubs on the boat and they all go out to their activity areas together. Once DW and I have some time to ourselves, we go and check them out if they're ready and hit the family beach for some snorkeling and swimming before lunch.

Nothing to stress out about. There will be plenty of information about options in the navigator and via the staff at the clubs.

If you drop them off on the ship, how do you know where to pick them up later? I know the littler ones are at Scuttle's Cove, but don't the tweens move around?

When I went with my son in December, we got off the boat together. We caught up with the CMs at the kids location behind the bike rental shed. After that, I didn't see him until that night. They brought him back on the boat, and went straight to Edge. Ate with them for dinner and didn't see him until Midnight.

Yes, there are planned activities for Tweens should they want to be a part of them. It's like the Edge - there is no "checking in or out". They can come and go as they please. They spend a lot of time during the games/activities in the "In Da Shade" area, but they go other places as well.

The wave phones work on CC, so theoretically if you and your child each have a phone you could connect that way. I purchased a waterproof case from Amazon that fit a wave phone, but still had my DS leave the phone in his beach backpack when he was in the water--I just told him to be sure to text me before and after he went swimming.

here is the case I ordered--it fit the wave phones perfectly:
