Magic Must Do's with nearly 4 year old! HELP

THis is our first trip on Magic May 4-9. Any suggestions on must do's for nightly entertainment shows or other suggestions?? We have a nearly 4 year old boy. Any tips and good pointers, we have 2nd seating for dining. Please help us with things we need to know to do on trip.

We took our 3 1/2 DS on the wonder in october and going again with an almost 4 in May too... (fantasy this time) here is what he loved on the wonder (sister ship to the magic)

1. The shows every night.... This one kinda surprised me!
2. Mickey pool and Mickey slide every day often multiple times a day....
3. Character breakfast was a big hit
4. The ice cream machine...
5. The family dance nights
6. The kids club in small doses... Like 1-2 hrs at a time.
7. Playing / running up on the sports deck when it was reeeeallly windy (sea days and in the evenings)
8. Pirate night and fireworks totally worth staying up late for!!

How can we find out if they do Character Breakfast on the Magic? Also where can you see what types of shows they have in the evening? Do we have to wait til we are on the ship?

We liked hanging out in the Promenade Lounge before dinner and listen to the lounge entertainment. He didn't really like the kids club, but I think that was more because Grandpa was on the cruise and he's more fun.

I agree with the PP that the Mickey Pool and the pirate night were huge hits.

When he fell asleep during dinner the servers would make a bed for him out of chairs. Which was nice

Character Breakfasts are on 7-night Magic sailings. They assign you a day & time and it will be printed on your dining rotation card.
