Mears Shuttle MCO to Swan

Hello,

My flight arrives at 0945 on a Tuesday. I am not checking any baggage. How long should it take to get to Swan? How is the Mears shuttle...does it make a lot of stops? TIA!

I have used the Mears shuttle to the S/D..and it actually worked pretty well. If your flight arrives, ontime, at 9:45, you should be at the S/D by 11:30ish. Yes, the shuttle can make a lot of stops. It all depends on what type vehicle you end up in. I was lucky enough to be put in a van...we made 3 stops before my Dolphin stop. If you end up on a full size bus, it could be more stops...but, really, no way of telling.
It took me just about 85 mins from checking in at the Mears podium to my resort.

The only time I've seen Mears buses used is during a convention at the Swan/Dolphin. I have always been transported to the Swan in a 12-passenger van.

**I take that back...ONCE (several years ago) a Magical Express bus picked me up at the Swan to go to the airport!

I've also taken Mears to The Swan, it took about 80-90 min. There were 3 other stops before Dolphin. I had to wait about 5 min. for the van at the airport, then we drove around to the A side to pick up guests waiting over there.

If time is of the essence to you, a taxi would be quicker, about 35 min. It is $60-$65 one way to Swan/Dolphin from MCO.

When my niece took the Mears shuttle to meet us. She was at the Dolphin in an hour from the time that she walked into the terminal from the plane. Guess she was lucky or maybe the first one dropped off

Thank you for all of the replies. I filled my form and selected 10am as my pick up even though the flight gets in at 9:45. Do you think I should put the time that the flight gets in? I thought I would give myself an extra 15 mns in case we needed to make a bathroom run before leaving.

Your arrival time doesn't have to be exact, because Mears won't have a shuttle bus waiting for you when you arrive. You'll still need to check-in at the Mears desk in the terminal before going outside to wait for your shuttle.
