Okay, maybe not a great deal in terms of what I have gotten in the past but considering how high rentals have been for June I am very excited!

June 22 to July 1 picking up at MCO and returning at FLL

a midsize SUV for $268:banana::banana::banana:

Looks like they are having a deal right now on this car class as it was far cheaper than even an economy

Awesome!!
I was up late last night playing around on the car rental savers site and Alamo's rates went lower in the hour I was checking. I ended up with a full size for 168.00 for a 9 day rental! It's back up a bit this morning.

So keep checking it might go even lower:)

I need a car for 2 weeks starting June 30th....the rates haven't changed for me at all.

I have a reservation with Budget (booked it last Nov.) but when I booked it I thought I was coming home 2 days earlier than what 'm now booked for. My 12 day reservation is only $230 all incl. So I'm going to keep that and hope that if prices don't come down it won't cost too much to keep it for the extra 2 days. I'm really hoping that I can find a midsize for at the most $250....I'm usually pretty lucky with getting the good deals.

I bet you'll have some luck. I am just seeing the prices start to come down for my May rental now, while people who are going other times in May have had them for awhile. So keep checking. :)

Is that total price with fees and taxes?
We have been looking for pickup from Shades of Green and dropping off at Fll and the lowest rate for a Corolla is 290.00 for the week.

Using Costco ID 7014627 and E-Coupon AD2359FDF for $35 off I get $193.38 inc taxes for an intermediate SUV.

Thank you for the codes. I will give them a try. I think what is hurting us is picking up at a hotel. The hotel charges a concession fee. I think it was 34.29. I have a car booked at the Hilton in DTD for 276.00 with a 35.00 off coupon that will be applied at the rental desk. We may have to take the bus to DTD and pick it up there...That would be a savings of close to 60.00.
I am still hoping for a drop as the date approaches.

Thank you for the info. I priced picking the car up at the Disneyworld car center and got a Ford Escape for the week for 130.00 total. Alamo will pick us up at the Shades of Green to go to the car center.
Do the rental agencies typically ask to see the Costco card?

Alamo has in the past asked to see Costco membership cards. So dont chance it. If you are asked and dont have one you will be charge the walk up rate which can be very very high.

We have priced renting with pick up at MCO and drop off at the Doubletree and it was double the price. It seems they want the cars returned to the same place.

I have a Costco membership so it won't be a problem for DH and I. However, my oldest daughter and her family are also renting a car. We booked a ressie for her with the Costco codes but also booked a reservation under the Visa codes and got the same rate, less the discount coupon, which made the price 30.00 more. I figured we would have a back up plan if they required a code from her.

They have a rental desk at SOG, why go to the CCC? No, they don't usually ask for the Costco card.

I just picked up a midsize car (economy was the same cost) via expedia for June 10-17 for $136 taxes included. The company is Enterprise. Looks like rates are starting to drop a little for June!

Just check-in at the kiosk. There is no one to ask you for a Costco card.

The exit agent can ask for the card. While they rarely ask for the card, it is best, as another poster stated, not to "tempt fate".

I have never been asked for anything at the gate and I've used questionable codes on many occasions, that being said a little digging you can find "public" codes that get the rate at least as low as Costco. I've found that signing up for the Insiders will get you just about the best rate.
