Thanksgiving dinner: what's good?

It will be time to make those November ADRs before I know it and I'd like to be ready. This will be our first trip during Thanksgiving week. Thanksgiving Day will be our last day there before heading home Friday morning. We drive so can go off property.

What restaurants would you recommend for a family of 5 including 3 teens with big appetites for Thanksgiving Day. I do think we would like the option of a traditional turkey dinner.

If you want a traditional family style Thanksgiving meal I would choose Liberty Tree Tavern. There are other restaurants that will have adjusted menus for Thanksgiving. The list hasn't come out for this year but here is the list from last year:

I think for a traditional turkey dinner I would choose Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK.
But know, every one thinks that and it books solid right away!!! You would need to be in an incredibly crowded MK on Thanksgiving day, which may or may not be to your liking
If this doesn't sound like fun to you, I would look at the 2011 restaurant list posted above and choose a resort restaurant that interets you.

We had a great dinner at Boma on Thanksgiving. We initially picked it because we were staying at AKV, so it was convenient.

We really enjoyed the dinner. They had traditional Thanksgiving foods (turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc) on the buffet, but then they had their usual African-inspired foods as well.

A buffet might be a good choice for you with hungry teens! My skinny little 10 yr old went up to the buffet for second helpings of both dinner and dessert!

We chose Boma too, and LOVED it for thanksgiving. The turkey was so juicy!

We ate at Cape May this past year for Thanksgiving. It was WONDERFUL! All the traditional stuff plus tons of other yummy goodness. The turkey was great and I think my DH ate a boatload of crab legs

We arrived on Thanksgiving Day one year......we ate at Chef Mickey's. Now understand...CM's used to be a family favorite but not so much anymore. But, we decided it was a good bet for T-day dinner. And it was wonderful!!! They had a complete turkey dinner at the buffet...so I got my turkey dinner with all the fixin's, dd had her pizza and whatever, and dh had roast beef (he's not a huge turkey lover). We were lucky enough to be seated in one of the upstairs rooms..off to the side..right at the window. It was basically very peaceful. Until a large noisy, rowdy family group of about 10 came in. But we were just finishing up so not so bad.
I would do that again in a heartbeat.

We are planning on going to AK on T-day then go to mimi's cafe (off site restaurant) for dinner that night since we are staying offsite and will have car.

I was just about to ask the same question OP but you beat me to it.

Does anyone know which restaurant has traditional stuffing without a bunch of fillers like nuts & berries? The only thing DH really cares about is what he considers to be normal stuffing. Thanks!
