Combining National coupons

Is this possible? Every coupon combination I use tells me the coupons are incompatible.

Then why does it give 3 spots for coupons? Mousesavers says you can stack multiple coupons. I guess I have the wrong coupons.

According to the website, you get 1 free day with every 6 rental credits as a reward. I think you can combine those. So 3 coupons for 1 free day = 3 free days.

Heck, they'd be giving away cars if you could stack 3 - $40 off coupons.........

As said before, 1 discount code and 1 coupon are allowed.

No, it says you can stack multiple discounts, not coupons. A discount can be a coupon, a discount code or a few other things. But, you cannot stack multiple coupons.

From Mary's site:
Here's how to combine the National discounts and perks:
Go through the National website.
If you are an Emerald Club member, use the Emerald Club link at the top of the National home page to make your reservation. Otherwise, just use the "Reserve Now" form that's right there on the home page.
Type in your location, date, time and car type information.
Type a Contract ID in the correct space. (If you belong to Emerald Club or joined through another organization, a Contract ID may already be in that space. You may want to try other Contract IDs because some give better discounts than others.)
Type ONE coupon code (if available) in the Coupon ID space.
You should receive up to two discounts -- the Contract ID and Coupon ID discounts -- plus Emerald Aisle or Emerald Reserve service, if you are an Emerald Club member.

Most coupons will list a specific Contract ID to be used along with the coupon code, but dozens of readers report using their coupons with Contract IDs other than the ones specified. I myself have successfully combined discounts from different sources (such as a coupon code from Entertainment Book and a Contract ID from AAA) dozens of times without any problems.

Be aware that codes are subject to capacity controls. If too many other people have already reserved cars during the time you're traveling, you may not be able to use your codes.

You can stack the "One, Two, Free" coupons. These are the coupons you get through their yearly promotion (August to January). You get 1 free day coupon for every 2 rentals. We sometimes get 2 of these coupons during the promotion and they are stackable (one time use). Of course the Emerald rewards free days are stackable too, but they really don't go into the coupon code. You just choose how many you want to use and click it.

You can not combine a regular coupon with your rewards free day perks, but you can combine your rewards free day perks with a contract code.

Thank you for clarifying the discounts. I looked at this, but obviously not close enough. Guess it was the spots for 3 coupons that kept throwing me off.

Thank you for the info - will keep in mind for our next trip!

You are not the only one that that 3 spots throws off. Glad I could help and you are most welcome. :)
