So I just called member service and was told we are in the system, :cool1: Finally. Problems is, they wouldnt let me do anything without my member ID. I dont know what that is! I thought they were going to give me that. Apparently I have to go back to Fidelity and get it. This doesnt make sense to me. Is this how it normaly works?? :confused3

When I called MS, they needed to know the sellers's name, the contract # and my name. Once they had all that, they provided me my member ID. The following day I received it in the mail.

I called today also and they asked me the same questions, but I'm not in the system yet.

:rolleyes1

Call back and try Option 2... Member Admin. You might need your contract # and sellers name.

Great to hear you're in the system Keith! Like PP said, call back and speak with Member Administration, they can get you your member number using some combination of you name, contract number or social security number. Hope you get to make your reservation today! :goodvibes

Your broker can get that number for you in no time if you just let them know you need help. Helps to avoid the "run-a-round" that is typicall of MS for new contracts.

So after calling Fidelity back with no luck, I did what you and the PP suggested and called MA. With the answer of a few questions, I had my M# and soon after my reservation for a week in December at OKW in a 2 bedroom villa. Excited to finally be official members of DVC. Cant wait to take our first vacation. :drive:

Thanks Missyrose. It feels good to finally be members and to have the whole process over. Even though it was only 2 months, it felt more like 2 yrs. :)

I know the feeling. You should have seen how irrationally excited I got when I returned home from work last night and saw my DVC membership card sitting on top of the pile of mail! :lmao:

The cards came 27 days after closing, which was two weeks after I appeared in Disney's system.
