Anyone out there willing to share their BEO for a wishes wedding - around 30-40 people...buffet.....not in the WP but with a dessert party?

I am still pretty far out but only my DF and myself are paying. Trying to figure out now how much out of every check to do this. I know the base is 12k before taxes but when I called DFTW they told me its very hard to keep to the 12k...

I dont have many people and its probably going to be more like 25 then the 30-40 but just to prepare.

Any help ladies would be great. I am thinking of the Croquet gardens, not sure of venue for brunch at all, not to big on flowers,... I think Im driving myself crazy with all of this.

I had 18 people (but paid for 20... don't ask), brunch reception, and I went $200 over the minimum. I also had a LOT of extras though: a Model A Ford, Major Domo, and Mickey and Pluto. My brunch buffet was also pretty pricy: about $75/pp. We had ENTIRELY too much food!

In other words, you can totally do it. :goodvibes

Throughout my planning I used to match this thread up with the PJ's of those who posted in it, so I could see what they got, for the price they paid. (Very time consuming!:surfweb:) So my plan was always to post my final BEO, with pics, so you can see exactly what I paid for!

Wow your budget is so incredibly helpful to me especially as I am looking at similar things.

The photos are a brilliant idea to show what you got for the money and your pics are beautiful

Thank you for sharing this x

Thank you for posting, Bec! Your numbers helped me tweak my budget a bit for prices I wasn't sure of. :goodvibes

Our event was in June of 2010 at the WP so we are a bit over the $12k minimum ($14k) but since you don't want the WP that would bring your cost down by over $3000 so you make it up right there.

We had 35 guests total and a DP the night before at Sago Cay Pointe

Bec,
did you have your ipod package inside or at SCP? I am just trying to figure out if it's an option outside. Your pictures are amazing and the way you did your budget is really helpful! Thanks :)

Bec, GREAT idea with posting pics with the budget! And I am SOO inspired by your tables in what I think is the Whitehall Room! And you are stunning in the pic getting out of the limo! I couldn't even tell your flowers were silk! Awesome job!! :thumbsup2

We looked at the Shade of Green because we are military, but we decided if we are doing a disney wedding... then we are doing the wedding in disney! period! It's a tough decision but we really can't "cut" anyone from the list, but we don't want to settle! It's a tough decision, but every bride has her challenges:headache:

Shades of Green IS in Disney. They are right across the street from the Poly and on Disney property (which they have leased from WDW for X amount of years). I really don't understand the mentality that to get married at SoG, you aren't a "Disney Bride" :confused3

Does anyone have a BEO for around 75-80 guests using the WP and LSS that they would like to share? Thanks! :thumbsup2

The Ipod package was just for WHR, but because we had the wishes music at SCP after the fireworks we were able to plug the ipod in and play some more music. It wasn't discussed beforehand, DH just asked the bloke with the equipment whether he'd mind if we did it, so we did!

Thanks! I love my flowers, they're still sitting in a vase, and that's one of the things I love about silk!

I was really happy with how the tables turned out!

Thank you for your awesome post! Genius! Super helpful :worship:

Am I being a bit full of myself if I think this post is directed at me? Thanks :goodvibes

Your budget breakdown was AMAZING! The Misty Motto Package seems like a great deal!

I love Misty and would have gladly paid double for her services!

Thank you for posting, Bec! Your numbers helped me tweak my budget a bit for prices I wasn't sure of. :goodvibes

No problem :thumbsup2

Thanks, you're welcome, I spent ages trawling through this post and the TR's to match up what everyone paid for, so I always wanted to do this for everyone else :goodvibes

Yeah your engagement ring is stunning! :lovestruc I didn't know about the pavers, that is a lovely touch!

That engagement ring is gorgeous and so unique! Very nice! I also always wondered what the cost of the pavers are so thanks for this. Your ceremony looked very intimate and sweet!

Bec - I meant to respond a while back, but thanks for all of the budget info, I'm like you, always looking for BEO's with pictures because you never know what you get for the money in the paperwork Disney sends. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the kind words about my Shades of Green Budget :goodvibes We "kind of" eloped, just me, DH and two sons. I just hate for anyone to write off Shades of Green, because it's not the typical Disney wedding venue, and they are so flexible and helpful with everything....I believe you can even have Mickey and Minnie as guests now too. If you have ANY connection to someone in the military (cousin, friend, etc), you can have a wedding there, as long as the sponsor stays at the resort.

@sheilaheartsdisney. I thought ADH had a venue fee now and the price included the marquee? Did they revert back to no venue fee?

We had our planning session back in January and at that point our planner
Did mention that was eventually going To happen. They must have done my
Beo before the change.
