Flying JetBlue

Our family flew Jet Blue for the first time and it was the best flying experience I've had in a long time.

We flew direct from Austin, Texas to Orlando, FL. No stress over missing flights. Onboard each seat had its own TV screen with all the cable stations and even pay-per-view movies. The TV reception was a little flaky (but still perfectly good) so they made all the movies free.

The kids liked that they each got to pick two snacks, a water, and a soda.

I liked that we were able to each check one bag for free.

In the future this is the airline I'm going to try and book on.

Thank you for your review of Jet Blue. We are flying Jet Blue for the first time for our October trip to Disney World. Our last 3 trips to Disney have been on Spirit airlines. FLying Jet Blue will seem like we died and went to Heaven! Once the kids get their own TV on the plane there is no going back :happytv:

Don't forget the comfy roomier seats! Love Jet Blue and they are our preferred and only look elsewhere to save a good amount of money.

Thanks so much for saying this! We are going to try and book our flights with Jetblue for our upcoming trip in December.
My twins have never flown....I haven't in 20+ years myself!!! But I think for all the reasons you stated it will be a much better experience for all.
Plus, I like knowing that I will get to sit with my children...unlike booking with Southwest.

Again, thank you!!!

Consider us among your fellow members of the JetBlue fan club.

Love the fact that a free checked bag, advanced seat selection, and snacks are included.

We also love the comfort of the roomy seats (DH is 6' 3" tall and 275 pounds, and we have finally found an airline where he doesn't complain about feeling cramped the whole way!), and the individual TV's.

We feel like we get good value for our airfare dollar with JetBlue. Flew them for the first time on December 31st and January 7th, and we had booked flights for another trip by January 14th.

I can't say enough good things about JetBlue! Comfortable seats, good snacks, pleasant crew, and a good price.

We've flown Jet Blue out of Newark twice a year for the last four years or so. It is generally a very good experience. We had one bad one one time when something happened and the flight crew for our trip wasn't there. They had to bring a new one from New York and it was exceedingly difficult getting any information out of the gate crew. On the other hand, coming home from Orlando one year our plane suffered a technical problem and was unable to pressurize the cabin as it gained altitude. They had to turn us around, land back at Orlando and get on another plane. In total, we lost only an hour and a half, which is pretty remarkable. So we will continue to fly them as long as i can get good prices.

We've flown JetBlue for the last 5 years and have always been huge fans of their planes & service! Sadly, they no longer offer a non-stop flight to MCO. Their prices were too high & their flight times were awful this year so we chose to go with another airline, but JetBlue remains our airline of first choice.

Add me to the JetBlue fan club! We love the tv's in the seats, the snacks, the roomier seats and the crew always seems very happy to help!

I just booked Jet Blue for our December trip (6th - 15th). We fly out of Bradley (Hartford/Springfield), and they were non-stop flights for about $9 more than the 1 stop options from Delta and United....AND "first bag flys free" (so no first checked bag fees), which means we probably saved about $25 a person.

Came here after booking to see what the general reviews were. They seem pretty positive. I"ve never flown JB before (they only added to Bradley a couple years ago...and we drove last year)...but it's looking like it might work out pretty well for us.

Hi there!!! We have almost exact same dates...same airport! (12/8-12/15) Maybe I'll see you on the flight home ! :cool1:
I was thrilled when the JB fares came out last Sunday and booked right away. Logan was/is $60 more pp rt. :scared1:
For us BDL is maybe 15 minutes longer drive than BOS so it was an easy choice.

I flubbed our dates (slightly). We're going the 5TH - 15th. I was looking at our DVC ressie, which is the 6th...and forgot about our night at the Hard Rock and day at IOA.

We're on the 6:05 PM back, on the 15th...We'll be in (right now...barring any changes) row 17 (both ways, actually). 3 adults (me, my wife, and my wife's sister) and 3 kids. Feel free to say "Hi"!

I was wondering if you were flying out of BDL. I've heard lots of folks say they prefer it to Logan, if they're roughly "in the middle" of the two.

YUP!!! That's our flight home too!!! :thumbsup2 it will be myself, DH and our twin daughters.
Its our first trip to WDW and we couldn't be more excited!!!(well, my hubby and I were both there when we were in High school...a zillion years ago when there were only 2 parks ) Our girls first flight....and my DH and I haven't flown in over 20 years! :yay:
Nice to 'meet' you!!! Def say hello if you see us!! We'll be the newbies in line that know nothing. :rotfl:

The comfy seats are because they fly Aitbus aircraft. They generally have between 1-2 inches more width than a 737 seat.
