Its been 5 days so I decided I would try my luck today and see if my points were in the system. They weren't! :sad:My question is, how long should i wait to call again and or how often should I call. TIA!

If they're not in the system today, then they won't be loaded over the weekend. I'd try again late Monday or early Tuesday. I hope they load them soon for you!

I've waited anywhere from 4 days to 11 days. Also, I did have one case where the points were loaded on the weekend. I have never had a time when calling helped. Disney works to the beat of their own drum! :rockband:

Good luck!

We closed on 3/19 and we are still not in the system. I spoke to someone who was helpful and ended up transferring me to another person who handles receiving the paperwork and she said that they haven't received anything yet. So I sent an email to the closing company this afternoon asking about it and I am waiting for the response. The rep at DVC gave me her direct line and said that as soon I hear back to let her know so that she will look for it.

Hi Missyrose, I am sorry but I must disagree. My points were not in the system last Saturday but then they were loaded Sunday morning and available Sunday afternoon.

When I called MS on Saturday wondering why my points were not in the system the CM said that Member Administration was closed (due to the weekend) and the points would not be in until sometime during the work week. Sunday AM, the points were in the contract, and by the afternoon the points were loaded and I booked a trip that day.

You must of logged into your account to see your points? I can't log into the member site yet because I don't even have a member iD yet. Unfortunatly, I think I'm stuck for another few days!

That is a little different issue. Contact the broker you used for the sale. They can get your membership number for you. Unfortunately, that probably won't occur until Monday now though. Never hurts to try though. Good Luck!

Call MS tomorrow and Sunday and give them your name and last 4 or your social, see if they can find you. Wouldn't hurt to try.

I guess you could be right. All I know is what Membership Administration had told me a couple of weeks ago. When my membership hadn't been entered into the system on Friday, the woman I spoke to who inputs the membership info into the system said nothing would be done over the weekend and my membership would be in the stack for Monday and to call back on Tuesday. If OP doesn't yet have a membership number or online account, there wouldn't be a way for him to check anything until Membership Adminstration reopens on Monday, right?

Is there a time of day thats best suited for calling or would it be inappropriate to call more than once in a day? I would hate to keep getting the same person!

You probably won't get the same person and that is their job, to meet the needs of DVC members. Just be sweet about it.

When I was looking for my first contract to be loaded in the system and I didn't have a member #, I called MS twice a day, once in the am and once in the pm. Each time I gave my name, address and last four of my SS# and they would search to find whether I was in their system. A few times they said to call Member Admin. and a couple of times they were able to search themselves.

Good luck.

I would call your sales rep. We purchased our DVC membership while on a cruise on a Saturday, and we booked our next cruise on the next Wednesday. All of our points were available. We still have not closed and it's two weeks later. We don't have access to the DVC site yet.

Im assuming you bought direct? I bought resale so I dont see how calling my sales rep is really going to help me.

I did call MS again this morning and were still not in the system. She also told me to call my sales rep but I dont think she realized that it was a resale contract either. I dont really see were contacting my sales person will help me but if anyone has an idea why it might, Im all ears!! :lmao:
