Alamo Reservation Email Question

My Alamo confimation email has a link that says "Save Time" that allows you to create a driver profile and bypass the counter. My reservation is not until late summer. If I use the "Save Time" link now and create a driver profile, does this allow you to print the rental agreement from now?

You can do the save time up to 24 hours before arrival. I would wait because rates drop and coupons become available all the time and you may end up changing your reservation before your trip. If you join Alamo Insiders you can put in all your information in ahead of time, then when you do the save time before you leave it's already there.
To answer your question, once you do save time your rental agreement will come up on the screen to print. Even if you do the Save Time you can still cancel and make new reservation.

Well, I did the "Save Time" thing but it never came up to the rental agreement screen. The only thing Save Time did was allow me to enter my driver's license number, contact info and FF information. I ended up with an updated reservation and another confimation email but no rental agreement.

For us when we have done the Save Time in the past we put in the information asked for but you still had to go to the kiosk in the terminal to finish the rental. This is usually because the rental has a coupon attached. If the email had the icon for checking in on-line you would be able to complete the rental, print everything out and then just proceed to the garage and pick out your car, head to the exit and then show your paperwork and license and off you go.

Sorry for stating you would get rental agreement, I meant you would get updated reservation which is what you got.

Once you get to airport and use the kiosk, it prints our the rental agreement. Once you pick out your car in whatever class you rented, give the tag that's in the car, along with your driver's license & credit card to the exit gate rep. It's quick and easy. I've done online checkin and just walked out to garage and picked car, but still received the actual agreement from the exit gate rep.

FINALLY!! A renter that pays attention. Bless you. Just a quick comment here, sometimes that tag is not in the car, but, don't worry, all it is is the car's VIN and it can be found in other places, so, don't knock yourself out looking for it. It is usually a little slip of paper that is in the visor or somewhere else visable in the vehicle.
