Have a great cruise!

We just booked tonight.

me- Christi
husband- Erik
Matt (14)
Marina (11)

We are very excited. We will be staying a few days at WDW before hand. We know it will be crazy, but we have never been there during Christmastime. We are looking forward to seeing the holiday lights and decorations.

We will also be joining you all on this cruise.

Our crew will be... Me and the Dear Hubs, DD (20) and a friend(20), and DD (20) and SIL(20)... otherwise known as the Parents and the 20 year olds.

This will be our 6th cruise (2nd on The Dream), our DD's 4th (1st on The Dream) and the SIL & friends 1st cruise. Needless to say, we are all looking forward to hanging out on The Dream.

Yea!!! I was thinking that I we were going to have the whole ship to ourselves! :rotfl:

I went on the Dream last summer, but the girls have only been on the Wonder. We may do a few days at WDW after the cruise, but not sure yet.

This is my 5th DCl cruise and the rest of my families 4th. ( I went on the EBTA last year by myself).

This is a surprise for our kids. It is their Christmas present. I can't wait to see the look on their faces. We told them that we are not cruising this year due to possibly moving.

This is our first time on the Dream. We went to Alaska in August. We saw some amazing scenery or I should say Erik and I saw some amazing scenery. The kids did not even go out on deck the day we were in Tracey Arm. They hung out with friends.

We're jumping on this ship for our 25th Anniversary. We decided to try it, since we've never cruised before. We've vacationed without the kids several times, but not a cruise. I'll have to keep an eye on this thread, and see what comes up. :goodvibes

Welcome!

Noticed you are from Home of the Wings. Are you talking about the Red Wings?
We live just south of Detroit in Lincoln Park.

What an Awesome surprise!! We surprised our DD's with our first cruise. They still talk about it being one of the best gifts ever.

This will be our DD's first time on the Dream and they are excited... already making plans.

No - I'm talking about the home of the original Buffalo Wings. I have to admit, though, that I prefer the ones at Friendly's or Denny's to these things they have around here. ;)

This is our plan as well! I've always wanted to see WDW at Christmastime, but didn't want to spend an entire week battling crowds. I figure by combining a cruise with a WDW stay, I'll have the best of both worlds! We'll get to see all the decorations and then have a relaxing 4 days on the cruise. Can't wait!!

BTW, being a parrothead, I love your username! :thumbsup2

My husband and I are both Parrothead. We love his concerts.

We cancelled. We just booked a last minute cruise on HAl for next week.

It is a much better price. $1800 for all 4 of us for a 10 night southern Carribean.
It has 7 ports and 2 sea days.

Have fun! 10 days is way too long for me!! I don't even think I could handle 7 days!

Bought our airfare for the trip on Sunday, as soon as Jet Blue opened up their schedule! Can't wait!

My daughter told me she would rather not go on a 3 or 4 night cruise. It is way to short.

I love to cruise. It is a true vacation for me. No cooking, cleaning, etc.

We love longer cruises.

We are a family that likes to take a ton of small vacations rather than one long one. I "need" a vacation every 4 months or so, just got back from a 4 night trip to Disneyland and Southern California, anything over 5 nights and I start missing my animals at home too much. :rolleyes1 We had a 7 night cruise booked on the Magic for September but changed it to the 4 night in Jan since my girls wanted to go on the Dream.

Jet Blue doesn't fly from Dallas to MCO yet...I don't think anything is open for us yet.

I lied....just checked and Delta is open and not too bad, but I'm not ready to buy airfare just yet...but am paying off the cruise this week!!
