** The NEW 2012 Confirmed Snacks Thread** Add yours here!

One question, are all of the confirmed snacks listed here identified with the snack symbol? Last time we visited I only recall the usual suspects (popcorn, mickey bars, water) being marked with the DDP snack signage. In other words, if I don't have the mother list handy, will all of my snack options be obvious?

I think they do a pretty good job of labeling all the snack options with the DDP logo, so you don't necessarily need the full list every time.

This list is an awesome resource to help you seek out snacks you may not have thought of, or to locate those few snacks options that aren't labeled but you can still get.

I like going through the list and making a sub-list of snacks I want to make sure to get -- gotta maximize those credits!

Exactly! I couldn't have said it better. Before I took over this list I did exactly that. I copied the list and then edited it down to those locations I may visit, deleted those I wouldn't, and removed items that I knew were included (like the beverages, ice cream novelties, etc.)

On our last trip I think there were only a few locations that didn't have the DDP logo. I remember Cookes of Dublin and The Lotus Blossom Cafe not having the logo on the signage. If you don't see any logos on the sign and there isn't a sign saying they don't take DDP ask the cashier what items are a SC.

Here's an example of a menu showing the logo. This is Restaurantosaurus one.

They're a little hard to see but they are shown after desserts and beverages.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. We are going in June and it will me my and DH second trip but everyone else will be first timers. We are going to use your list for the "must have" treats:banana:.
Again thanks for all your hard work.

This is a great resource, but can anyone narrow down the salty (non dessert) options. I know popcorn, but any others?

Just off the top of my head...pretzels, bags of chips, fries, onion rings, freshly made potato chips.

Other choices, not necessarily salty... soups, salads, fresh fruit, carrots and celery and carrot sticks, bagels, trail mix.....

During F&WF in the fall-all non-alcoholic food items.

I'm sure you can find what you are looking for on the list. :goodvibes

Is there anything in particular you're looking for?

A few minor updates today thanks to update from easywdw.com

The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor has re-opened with a few changes to the menu. The Plaza Ice Cream Sundae ($4.79) is now a SC. :goodvibes They have also removed the Cookies 'n Cream flavor from the menu.

They've added a Gourmet Hot Chocolate in a souvenir mug ($5.99)-it is NOT a SC.

Have a great day. I am still in the process of updating the resorts listing. If you have any information from the resorts please feel free to let me know. TIA!

Not going anytime soon. But was browsing for prices and found the "free" dining offer and saw that the plan had a "snack" and per Disney there was not a lot of things and I was kinda bummed. After seeing this list I see there is so much to choose from that if you do not find something then there is no helping you. I know this may change by the time I go but hoping it stays.

Updated Sunshine Tree Terrace thanks to recent posting on easywdw.com. Looks like the Pineapple Float and Soy Milk are gone from the menu and the Iced Coffee Float no longer has a DDP logo by it. If you go to Sunshine TT and you find that you can get the Iced Coffee Float and/or the Pineapple float has reappeared, please let me know. Thanks!

I also was able to update the listings for Blizzard Beach thanks to updates I found on tourningplans.com. According to their site you can now use SC at the Mini Donuts and the Arctic Dots locations. I would love confirmation of this from anyone who has done so. Also I would assume that the same holds true at Typhoon Lagoon. Awaiting confirmation of this as well. I hope this is finally true! My DD loves the minidonuts and they are usually the only item we pay OOP for on our trips.

More and more locations that previously didn't accept the DDP and/or have SC have been changing. One of the main ones has been the Coffee, Pastries, etc. locations found at many of the parks. These now accept DDP and have SC items. For those of you who want good (or at least better) coffee these locations serve Joffrey's Coffee. Personally I get my daily caffeine from Diet Coke. ;)

ironpig70-it shouldn't change anytime soon. If anything they are adding in more SC items. :goodvibes

I'm not really a message board person but came across this list when I was searching for new snacks to try on my next trip.

First of all I wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work and I found this list extremely helpful. I jotted down a few that I want to try and it gives me one more thing to be excited for on my upcoming vacation.

Secondly I wanted to let you know that I also discovered the list that was obviously copied from yours and sent them a gentle reminder that the honorable thing to do would be to credit you for your work.

I hope they do so, I can only imagine the scope of the immense project and offering this information to members of this board is very generous of you.

Thanks again

I'm new to this site and I can't thank you enough for putting this list together! I will be printing it and bringing it with us on our next trip. I look forward to seeing what you are able to put together for AoA!

Thanks!:goodvibes

thank you for the updated info!!!!:thumbsup2:cheer2:

Thank you! Love your Maleficent costume! :goodvibes My DD12 was her last Halloween. I think I did a great job on her costume and makeup.;)

Probably the last year she'll do the costume thing with makeup. Now that she's older she wants to be more like the older girls who basically just wear something less work and less clothing. Oh for the days when she was little. :cloud9: But then easier for me since she wore this costume twice last year.

Oh I get so excited when I found a new source for updating menus. Thanks to eatingwdw.com I have updated quite a few menus.

Also, I have finally posted the reorganized listing for Animal Kingdom. Locations are now grouped by land.

Thanks again for reading! :goodvibes

Thank you sooo much for doing this.I can't begin to tell you how much this will help us utilise the DP to its fullest. Its because of people like you that makes DIS magical:worship:

Thanks for posting:thumbsup2. You made me hungry looking at all those forbidden snack list:lmao: YUM:rolleyes1

Thanks so much for this - we will be using it in June to get a better benefit of our snack credits than we did on our last visit. One question... I was looking for a popcorn souvenier bucket and wondering where they are available and if they are truly a sc - thanks.
