What are the chances of me getting a great DING FARE from Bradley (CT) Airport to MCO on 8/25-9/2?

Last week flights were $125 each way, today $168 each way. I am freaking out holding on and waiting.

What about DirectAir from Worcester? They have a sale for $79 each way. We take carryon luggage anyhow so no baggage fees. I haven't seen many good deals with Southwest lately.

My fear is: what if they go under and leave Worcester? What about travel from Sanford to Disney, we are family of 7, what would that run us?

We are travelling on virtually the same dates (August 26th to September 2) and booked our flights in mid January. We are flying from Syracuse via JetBlue. Our tickets for 3 people were $868 less a $15 credit. Total = $853 ($284 per person, return, all taxes and fees included). JetBlue also includes free seat selection, one free checked bag per person, free snacks, and a TV on each seat .

Prices have increased steadily since week purchased our tickets. Those same seats were almost $1100 when I checked on the weekend. Holy Batman!!!

I, personally, could never travel with carry-on luggage only. It sounds like a good idea in theory, but hard for me to put into place . Add on the fact that we love to shop on our southern getaways (picking up all those great deals at the hundreds of outlet stores) and we need to check a suitcase each.

Hopefully you will be able to snag a fare that's affordable for your family. 5 boys....wow!!! I have one and he eats me out of house and home . I can only imagine the laundry you do in a day!!!! What a blessing, though, to be given the gift of five sons!!

Yes, you can not imagine the laundry I do, it is crazy! As long as I do a load or two a day, I am good. And they older 3 put theirs away.

Our oldest is Jakob. They are not eating us out of house and home just yet.

Sounds like your fears might have been very much warranted, Sheaboys. It appears that DirectAir may be headed for bankruptcy:

Do a Google search for Direct Air. I would not recommend that anyone book with them and if you do have tickets, start making new travel plans. It doesn't look good.

Wow! I think I would have booked at the 125.00. That is a good price. sadly, Ding fares are far from what they used to be. We had booked Direct Air for June only to have them go under and I had to rebook with SW 155 going down and 176 home from Manchester NH. What can you do? Good luck with your search!

I waiting for those exact dates on South West also only out of PHLto MCO !! My fares are as much as $156 each way ughhh !!

more than likely the rates will change again, i've been watching my area and they have gone up and down 40 dollars and everyone in between just over the last 2 weeks
