Is the aqua duck fresh water or salt water?

I am assuming the pools are the same? Also what is the height requirement on the aqua duck? Last time I was active here it seemed the rules kept changing. My youngest is 42". Do I need to prepare her ahead of time that she can't ride or can she with an adult or alone?

Fresh. I think they lowered it to 40" but you can ride single or double.

It was designed for adults and children at least 42" or taller. Single riders must be at least 54" or taller. Children under 7 must ride with someone 14 years of age or older, provided the child is at least 42" tall.

all the pools are the same.. a filtered sea water that is now "fresh water" i would assume the aquaduck is the same deal...

ALL of the water on DCL ship's is fresh water.
Some is bunkered in PC, but the vast majority is made thru reverse osmosis.

Even the drinking and showering water on CC is fresh water using the same process!

Not to hijack the thread but can anybody tell me why some cruise lines use salt water in their pools? What is the point of that?

It's cheaper, simply that unless it's for a treatment, or such.
They don't have to have the machinery, procedures, to desalinate the sea water as no ship could not carry enough fresh water bunkered from their origin port.

The ship can make 1,200 tons of fresh water from seawater each day.
80,000 gallons of fresh water is stored in water tanks on the island.
