Last possible day to cancel an online booked activity?

I booked excursions, a spa appointment and Palo brunch online. If my son suddenly get sick on the ship or refused to utilize the kids clubs, how far in advance do I have to cancel those activities? I booked Palo brunch on the last day at see before we get back to LA. Fingers crossed he at least goes during that time! My son is seriously shy, not a joiner, does not really like crowds of other kids, needs time to get used to new situations, has some mild sensory issues, etc.so I'm prepared to cancel if he won't go.

You have three days before your cruise sails to cancel with no charge. If your child gets sick onboard, I am pretty sure that they would work with that, but otherwise you would need to request to drop the excursion and they would have to see if the spot get filled for you to not be charged.

Excursions must be canceled at least three days prior to your sailing date (not the excursion date). Spa and Palo reservations can be canceled once you're on board. I think they want 24 hours notice, but they are pretty flexible, especially at Palo since there is usually a waitllist.

You both! :)

What about spa appointments?.....Oooops! You answered that question! Sorry! I was up too late booking stuff and now have to work this morning. I better wake up!

If you book an excursion they will refund your money if you have a receipt from the on board medical center to prove you are ill. Be careful though. Depending on what you are sick with you may be quarantined.......

Spa--24 hours ahead
Palo--by 2 pm the day of for dinner, day before for brunch.
excursions--3 days before embarkation

These are the rules; they sometimes can be flexible. For instance, if they have people who want to book your excursion and have started a wait list, they will refund your money and "sell" your spot to someone on the list. It is the same for a wait list for Palo--if they can fill your spot, they don't charge you.

If you have gone to the medical center, the decision would have already been made and GS would have been notified. Within an hour of DS going to the med center and being diagnosed with pink eye, there was a CM at the door with a list of movies he could request and a DVD player. If you are sick, you need to be in your room and not infecting everyone else.

Hi Luv2Sleep--

We should have some playdates on the cruise. One of my 3yoDDs is very shy and has speech issues. Her twin is the total opposite--totally outgoing and wants to be the center of attention. I'm banking on the fact that DD1 will go to Club with DD2 once we acclimate her on day1 during Open House. If your DS made friends with our girls, maybe he would be more comfortable at the Club. Did you get the 11am arrival time? When I have enough posts to PM, we can chat re details if you want.

Are you able to book excursions while onboard? We are debating doing the Paradise Adventure excursion through Disney. But we don't want to make a final decision yet. We figure by the second day if the kids are antsy and need an escape from the ship we will do the excursion. What are our chances of the excursion still having spots open for us after we are already on board? Do they fill up pretty quickly?

That sounds like a great idea! Thank you!
