No Aladdin after February 4th?

Hi there,

In the entertainment calendar on the official website I can't find any performances of the Aladdin show on Saturday the 11th of February. In fact, I can't find any performances after the 4th.

Is there still hope that they'll do the show on some of these days or does it mean it definitively won't be on?

It just hasn't filled in yet. I've heard nothing about it being down.

I posted this same question in a couple of different threads over the past few weeks (we're booked to come Feb 11-18), and no one in those threads had heard about any reasons why it is not in the calendar.

I had to speak to reservations a few days ago and asked if they knew anything? The CM said that there was nothing in their computer system saying that the show "wasn't" going to be on, and he advised that he asked his coworkers while I was on hold, and they hadn't heard anything either.

Given that they just refurbished the theatre about 18 months ago, that shouldn't be the issue, and I would think they wouldn't need more than a couple of days to fix the flying carpet (if it's not already fixed).

FYI The flying carpet has not returned to the show since the accident happened. We were there from Dec 18 - 26 and saw the show a couple times and the carpet never flew. Even though there was no carpet we still loved the show.

Maybe there are plans to fix it in February and that's why they haven't published the schedule yet.

I think it is odd that it is not on the schedule yet. All the other entertainment has been filled in for a while. I am going Feb 3 - 8 and plan on seeing it the
4th because i'm just not sure it will be showing after that. It is usual to wait and fill in the entertainment, but unusual to fill in all the entertainment info and leave off one thing and add it later. My only guess was they are going to work on fixing the flying carpet. Only time will tell for sure, but I wouldn't count on it.
